Just wondering for those who made the trip to Buffalo, how did the fans treat you? I have never been, and read some scary posts about their fans. Just wondering if the new "NFL FRIENDLY" rules had any affect on these clowns? Or if they were still rude and obnoxious?
i had on my gholston jersey at the game and got alot of comments from bills fans. everyone was pretty much joking with them though and i didnt have any troubles. a few J E T S suck suck suck chants were directed at me and my friend too cause he had a vilma jersey on. all the fans pretty much shut up though after elams pick near me though and nobody said much for the rest of the game. my friend who i went with is a bills fan and after the game he wouldnt even talk or walk with me.. so that was the highlight of my day
The fans are not as bad as the media makes them out to be. This was my second time at buffalo and i had no problems. The other time i went we lost and it wasn;t bad either. A few comments here and there, but that is expected and you get the occasional drunk a**hole, but that will be at any football game.
i was in section 309..after i cheered for tj's td run and we were up 23-10, bills fans 5 rows behind me threw beer and bleu cheese at me and my cotchery jersey...i didnt say shit cuz we were winning...they then called out my gf who was wearing a coles jersey and and told her to suck their dick...i turned out hit them with a beer and said fuck u homos...bills suck...look at the scoreboard....they didnt come down and do shit cuz security had walked over just after i threw the beer..they had no idea what went on....but my dad, me and my gf walked outta the stadium yelling 1st!!!! and doing the jets chant....bills fans didnt say anything....douche fans said jets suck as if we didnt beat their asses
oh my god.....if i never set foot in ralph wilson stadium again it would be too soon....I am a big JETS fan from northwestern pennsylvania and have went up there too many times to know not to go back.....being female is even worse i could tell you horror stories from the rude and obnixous fans in buffalo!!!!! i am married to a bills fan and he's even embarrased how the bills fan act:jets:
It's hard to figure out just how bad other fans are cuz these horror stories are often told by people who are most likely being loud and obnoxious and baiting the home fans.
um no...just sat there and rooted for the jets...im not an idiot female waiting to put myself in danger
I have to say -- for someone that goes to the game every year -- they were pretty tame compared to years passed. Don't know if this is because they aren't doing too bad??? I got there at 7AM and not one word was said bad about the Jets before the game or even during the game. Didn't hear anything until after we won and was walking back to the car. But at that point -- I was so goddam happy i could care less
Honestly, they were absolutely horrible. I had my Wayne jersey on and I got absolutly brutalized. Walking to the gate I had a kid call me out and started going off on me in which I gave it right back to him... I actually got this guy to admit at the end that he likes Wayne to I won the argument ha.
Just smile and nod, take it in as all good fun. Don't be obnoxious like the guy getting up and starting the Jets chant. What do you expect if you do that, you probably deserve it.
I went to Buffalo a few years back and didn't have any problems. Pretty friendly and nice. Tailgaters were a bit rowdy. It was cold, We lost, it was colder.
