Isn't it amazing what drafting ANOTHER wide receiver in the top 10 will do to a franchise after the first few picks of that type have brought it to it's knees? The Lions are the perfect example of the gambler's ruin. Keep doing very risky high stakes things over and over again and eventually you crash and burn. Every time.

:rofl: yes. It was a particularly good cartoon, but not everyone will realize all that was going on. A few things are inside jokes. Billy is an old stock character from the cartoons. He started off as Bronco Billy and then went to Detroit to join Matt Millen. [One memorable cartoon had Billy and Millen trying to kidnap Roethlisberger so they'd have a QB.] The stuff about the city burning and everything is obviously a shot at Detroit, but what people won't know is that Bang/John has a long-running feud with Detroit. He made a cartoon before the Steelers-Seahawks Super Bowl featuring Bettis giving a tour of Detroit, featuring crack houses, etc. Detroit people sent him a ton of nasty e-mail, not appreciating the humor. So now he runs this cartoon. Excellent. The cartoons lately have been sub par and not up to Bang's old standards, but this was a really good one. The radio hours are always funny, also.
