Hotel security guards escorted Rocker from the premises after he got into a screaming match and hurled ethnic slurs at 790 the Zone?s Shapiro upstairs in the hotel?s Whiskey Blue nightclub, a spokeswoman said. According to witnesses at the party, Rocker insulted Shapiro repeatedly during the altercation, using various vulgarisms. Over the years, Shapiro on his show has publicly taken Rocker to task numerous times for his behavior. Nine years ago this month, Rocker was embroiled in a national controversy after an interview with Sports Illustrated in which he made statements about playing in New York. In the article, he slammed foreigners, gays and the city generally. ?Basically, last night, John proved he was everything I?ve said he was over the years,? Shapiro said Friday. ?I saw him staring me up and down. I told him, ?John, let?s be civil here, that was all a long time ago.? He told me, ?It wasn?t that long ago, mother [expletive]. And right away, he pulled out the ?Jew? card.? Whiskey Blue representative Juliet Horn confirmed that Rocker was escorted out of the nightclub after making ?inappropriate comments to one of our guests.?
I thought his irrational behavior was because of the steroids? Is he still on them? Oh wait, it was all just because he is a racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic jackass.
While I don't condone Rocker's statements, I do understand how a person in his position would want to hold somebody accountable for the things they say about him (to presumably millions of listeners). If I had some jack ass on the radio bashing me all the time I'd want a piece of him too...
That's a fair point, but apparently Rocker is willing to back up the shit he does/says and this Steak guy isn't. I mean this is pure bone-head stuff no doubt... but Rocker is a bone-head.

if mets fans threw batteries and spit at any other player i would be disgusted, but i wish someone had hit this clown with a car battery while he was coming out of the bullpen at shea.
