Maybe my original post got lost in translation. My point was not that one should not expect Jets fans to have sympathy or class because they are Jets fans, rather that one should not expect fans of a direct rival (Bills, Fins or Jets) to feel bad when a divisional rival player goes down.

As for that Pats board (not sure which one, but that is irrelevant), that is terrible and disgusting. That said, I doubt it was an entire group speaking in unison, but rather the usual douche fans that all forums have that made whatever comments you are referring to. Sad.

Anyway, still hope TM can make a comeback next season, he seemed like a good kid.

That's right. Justify being a jerk by referencing the fact that some Pats fans are jerks! Makes it all OK!

I never want to see anyone hurt. That's too bad. I hope Danny Woodhead busts it out on a similar note.

i'd normally feel bad if it was any other team (even the dolphins), but anyone on the patriots is pure scum.

Its not like they didn't draft a half million guys in the second round anyway.

So it's ok to wish that this guy's dream dies but to like how it happened is insensitive?

Pats fans don't have to cheer Jet injuries......and only fans who haven't played the game cheer injuries anyway...all the football player wannabes...

Even with a healthy team, Jets still play second fiddle to the Pats.....

Enjoy Sanchez........just wonder how long before the Jet fans & NY media turn on him.....

It'll probably be after Brady's spaghetti knee falls apart again.

Probably... I don't like cheering injuries for any team, I'd rather compete against a team at full strength and know I earned victory, rather than giving opposing fans more excuses for the loss. The pats have been good for a while, but it won't last forever...

Who was justifying it? I was just pointing out there are douchebag fans in every town.

  11. Sorry. No team that gets caught cheating and hasnt won anything since, should be talking trash to anyone.

I have long been against rooting for injuries. I had a slight breakdown concerning this 2 years back when Pat fans were defending the cheating, the players were talking trash, they were on their way to 18-0 and no one seemed to care. But it was wrong.

I hope all their draft picks are busts. I hope even more about the spygate scandal comes out.I hope pat fans are reverted back to the pre-parcells era. But I hope they do it w/ the healthiest roster ever...

I played Pop Warner all the way through college, and I think it's great. Guess that blows your theory out of the water...

Sitting on the bench doesn't really make you an actual football player.

Hemi likes to project his status onto others or is it just wishful thinking? ie: benchwarmer

    Good for you boy !

SyracuseJet played PW football thru college? Didn't know colleges had a PW program. BTW, you cheer players injuries? With that mentality your wonderlic must be in single digits.
