This question goes out to anyone that has intimate knowledge of giants stadium: I just bought season tickets for the 09 season yesterday (yay!) and my seats are in the lower level, section 128, row 33. My question is, which rows in the lower level are covered? I'm pretty sure some of the high rows are covered up by the mezz section, but cannot recall exactly. Does anyone have any idea or perhaps sit in a similar seat and can speak from experience? Thanks!
You're definitely covered. I'm in Row 25 Lowers and am not covered, and I never really pay attention to it but I'd say 33 is right about the cutoff row. The cutoff may actually be a few rows closer like 30 or 31.
perfect, thanks everyone. thats exactly the info I was looking for...being covered is the kicker. I can't believe I was able to secure these seats to begin with.. they are aisle seats closest to mid-field and I got them for the corner/end-zone price! Anyone around here also in section 128?? So excited bout this season!
Congrats on your seats. Man I thought it was bad I was given 77 seniority but it seeks the jets r pulling out all the stops.
aisle seats suck because u keep having to get up and down for drunk assholes who have to piss ever 10 minutes.
unless your the drunk asshole who doesnt like tripping over peoples feet and falling on the row in front of you.(btw falling on the rows in front of you is looked down upon for some reason)
The cover starts at Row 32. You might get a little wet if the wind is blowing like crazy, but I'd say chances are.. you're good.
Glass half empty? Honestly, I think it's MUCH more annoying to try and make your way down an Aisle and making everyone else stand-up, stepping in their food, falling over into the row in front of you (props 17a), etc. instead of just standing up to let someone through. Furthermore, I plan to be that drunk asshole so I'm being considerate to other Jet fans by taking an aisle seat and not bothering them every time I have to get up! :drunk: Finally, its really only the later parts of the games, after you break the seal, that the bathroom thing becomes a problem.. and since the Jets are going to be blowing everyone out by half-time, I will probably already by on my merry way before it becomes and issue
That was the one game I attended last year- I've never been so wet in my life. Wearing rain gear from top to bottom and somehow my ass and wallet still got wet. I don't know what I was thinking, actually sitting in traffic both ways to then sit in the rain and watch was certainly a terrible football game.
besides the final score the weather didnt bother me. i was taught at and early age by my father, "never let the weather get in the way of a good time and never leave a game early."
