I don't have a link, unfortunately. I was listening to Myers and Hartman in the car today, and they had an interview on with Peter King. He was his usual obnoxious self, and when asked if and where he sees Michael Vick suiting up this season, he responded:

"Absolutely. I've said it all along, and I'll say it along. I think he's a Patriot by the end of training camp. Belichick loves versatile players, and he doesn't mind the troubled ones."

Patriots run a version of the Wildcat with Vick in the backfield? It's unfortunately a nice way to ease Brady back in.

I have read 4 articles that said the exact same thing. BB would have his hands full:

When Peter King thinks anything, he sees New England.

Aside from the legal issue, he was not been a headache for the Falcons. A team should sign him.

I hate when guys like King or Gammons can create news by simply speculating that player X will go to some certain team. I don't any chance this happens.

i like when reports take the "fan" out of them and for once act professional.

Gammons and King fail miserably at this.

You know who does a great job of that - Rich Eisen.... Jet Fan.

I want to start a Favre to New England rumor, just to give him a heart attack.

Maybe Michael Vick won't wake up tomorrow. Stuff happens. Same as speculation.

I'm probably the only one that is disgusted by his conditional reinstatement. There's other implications with his behaviour. This guy should be in therapy for the rest of his natural life.

Again, it wasn't like he was feeding the homeless with dog pies. Fukk this prick. I hope he fails miserably. No worries, he'll become the next Cesar Milan, anyway. You know that sh*t is coming.

I'm just glad we signed Sanchez. I was a little concerned Vick'd come here. I'd celebrate any Jets Superbowl win (obviously), but I reckon I reckon I would've felt it tainted if we'd have done it with Vick.

Exactly. He is such a homer for Boston in general. He always talks about the Red Sox and Patriots. Sad. It is hard to read his stuff anymore and I usually avoid it.

  17. Man, and we thought the pats couldnt be more hateable. Imagine if they get Vick..they should just change the name of the team to the baby eaters.

Alls I know is this: don't like Mike Vick, can't stand Percy Harvin. But if Vick, Harvin and Peterson were playing in the same backfield, I'd watch a lot of Vikings games this year. I don't think they'd do anything earth-shattering, but they'd be fun games to watch.

I agree, that would be a crazy backfield to defend.
