The official site posted the depth chart per Rex Ryan for the St Lou game. No real surprises. Jim L. will be first team punt returner, which was interesting. I know they talked about it a lot but. Also Stuckey is the starter, but Clowney and B Smith are 2nd team WR. http://www.newyorkjets.com/team/depth_charts
I was a bit surprised to see Renkhart ahead of Izzo...but then again I think Izzo is only here for ST duties. And of course, the whole thing doesn't mean a whole lot this early.
I'm not surprised at all. Izzo never seemed like a presence for the Pats at LB. He's a STs beast, though. I think we will definitely have the best ST unit in the entire league this year, bar none.
I know it says unofficial but prior to this there was not a depth chart posted. No surprises on offense. I was surprised Trusnik was on the 3rd team. He's been around a few years. Also, I have hopes for Potter at DE but have not heard his name all camp and he is behind Ripoti. Still early though.
The depth charts lists Westerman ahead of Cummings. I thought I'd read that Cummings was doing well. I'd love to have a few good ILBs, hopefully one can cover.
reading the transcript from todays practice, and the story on shonn greene's impressive TC is giving me a straight up woody.
