some of you may have noticed the eagles came out of the south end endzone tunnel. the new york jets have decided only they will use the north end and make the visitors walk all the way around the stadium to their locker room. this could take as much as 3 minutes off of the visitors halftime game planning. i think its about time we used this and fuck with the visiting teams
i guess i am slightly confused.... where were the opposing teams going before? and if we go in the opposite tunnel, wouldnt that put us farther from our own locker room? If it doesnt now, if we used the other tunnel before wouldnt that mean our guys had the 3 minute walk to the LR before? whatever I mean as long as its an advatage for us....
Up till now both teams always used the endzone tunnel in front of sec 101, and I assume both locker rooms are located off of that tunnels entrance. With the Eagle game and going forward the visiting teams will enter from the other tunnel by sec 121. Assuming the locker rooms remain where they are , this means the visting team will need to enter the tunnel by 121 and walk inside the bowels of the stadium to get to the locker rooms by sec 101.
both teams used the same north tunnel. the jets locker room is 45 feet to the left of the tunnel.the visitors locker room is a little bit further i think. now the visitors have to walk to the south end zone then all the way back under the stands to the other end of the stadium
new pyro stuff too for the jets entrance on the field and starting lineups which only 1/4 of the stadium will see b/c who the hell is there for kickoff anyway?????

Not too much further, but it is further. I've been a photo assistant and have been under the stands. While the Jets locker room is closer to the North tunnel, I think the visitors locker room is close to the 30 yard line on the south side. I'm just guessing here, but while I like the idea and it is a longer walk, I don't think it's the equivalent of 80 yards longer. It might be a minute more, if that. My seats are in 122, so I like having some extra action at our end. Now we can taunt. I love it.
Thanx Kev for saving my sanity.... actually, it's too late for that but I told the wifey during the game and she looked at me like I was CRAZY. I thought it was foreplay but then realized it wasn't as she continued the look, (usually lasts 3sec.) I then said damn, maybe they have been using the other entrance and I missed it... as Jet-O would say: HAAA!!!!!
