Umm, how exactly is it a bad thing for a Super Bowl-winning coach to say your defense looks like a carbon copy of one the league's most elite defenses?
He just seemed unimpressed. Though, he never really sounds impressed with anything, it came off as a slight.
should forward this one to rex himself: "Rex Ryan is using the same defense he used in Baltimore which resulted in a top 5 defense every year. Damn he's dumb." just a post on that message board.
No, I read that thread. The guy was being sarcastic. I actually applauded him for that (to myself at least) because he was one of the (few) objective posters there.
The damn he is dumb part is ironic... he is saying "if he had a top 5 defense in baltimore why should he change the way he designs defense coming to the Jets"
I've been on record for many tirades towards everything that is the Patriots. It's not even worth bitching any longer. I'm just ready to shut Brady,Bellichick and the rest of those clowns up once and for all. We wont be running or playing scared any longer. it's time to hit them in the mouth and show some pride.
I live in Massachusetts, I hate everything about WEEI, I didn't have my sirius working so I stumbled on Belichick talking with those idiots. If anyone else here heard Belichick talking they would be able to tell by the tone of his voice that he has zero respect for the jets. Not that is any news to anyone. When asked about Sanchez he was not giving him any credit, he was insinuating that he was going to get burnt more times then not with the way he plays the game and thinks that he believes can make any throw. When talking about the defense schemes he absolutely belittled rex and the jets saying it was the same exact stuff they ran in Baltimore and that it was more the Texans not being prepared or making any plays. He doesn?t come out and directly say these things, but if you heard him talk with that arrogant tone you would completely understand why the Patriots fans heard it the way they did. Everyone knows Belichick for what he is a smart ass football mind and a cocky mofo. Every single question/statement that was made about the jets being more formidable then they were in the past Belichick would give minimal credit and do it in a way that he has for the last 9 years. He is smart with his words and never says anything that he will later regret. He is a great manipulator and could be half the reason he will go down as one of the greatest coaches ever. For the sake knocking this douche bag off his high horse I hope the Jets throw them a beat down come Sunday. One thing I did pick up on that he seemed sincere about was Schotty. Saying that he does a lot of things to try and confuse a defense by mixing personnel groups and using motion. Of course no matter how good a job someone does, it seems when hearing him talk like it will never enough to beat the great BB.
Does anybody believe for even one second that Ryan showed all he has in the Houston game? He hardly needed to, that game was over early. I also heard Jenkins say yesterday that the Jets were treating this game as their superbowl. All of tells me that Belishit hasn't seen anything yet.
Everything Captain Asshole says usually does have some kind of a "hidden" message, so no one should be surprised by any of this.
this thread reminds me sooooo much of the Big Bang Theory's episode: The kille robot instability... with us being Sheldon and the team being the robot.
Ah, so it's just an insult fail on the part of Major Douche? Like saying "Oh, yeah? Yeah? Well...well...you have a big dick!"
Or maybe they did and still couldn't beat us? I hate that jerk and I hope while Leon returns the opening kickoff, someone comes and throws a late hit out of bounds on him, he crashes into Belicheat, who then falls on Brady's dick, and they both are carted away safely to a nearby motel...I seriously do.
He's not the only one! I hate the Pats with a fiery passion! I wont wish for their collective deaths, but a nice bus crash on the way to the airport with lots of career ending broken bones and muscle tears wouldn't leave me in mourning. ats_suck:
I still have more hatred for the Dolphins, but there's plenty to go around. Belichick definitely changed the way I look at the Patriots. Part of it has to do with the fact that I knew a total of two Patriots fans before 2003. Now, I know a couple dozen, including more than a few in Boston who couldn't have been bothered to care before that SB victory.
