This team is going in the right direction. I feel very confident about the direction this team is headed.

The Dolphins needed this game in the worse way. The WC cracked the Jets defense this game. I expect them to be more prepared for it next time they see it. Sparano and Henning do a good job of protecting their QB and they did that real well tonight.

The Jets are going to be alright. You can tell if your watching Ryan now how mad he is and i'm sure the players feel the same way. But I dont feel like this team isnt going to respond to this loss like I use to feel under Mangini.

The Jets D looked bad. Ok it happens. But on the other side of the ball the Jets looked great tonight. They ran the ball pretty well and Sanchez and Edwards hooked up on some nice plays. Cotchery is a little banged up now and Keller needs to get involved but Sanchez took another step in the right direction tonight. Hell even Clowney got involved.

This team is going to be ok. I fully expect them to come out and beat up Buffalo and Oakland the next two weeks and then take care of Miami when they see them at the Meadowlands.

I agree and I feel terrible as well.

But in the end you have to look at the bigger picture. This isnt the SOJ. This team is going to be ok. The only alarming thing is that this team got no pass rush today and they havent been sacking the QB all season.

I really expect this team to take this loss in stride, learn from it, and move on. I'm very confident that this team will beat Miami when we see them again.

You guys played well. I was kind of suprised when I came in here and saw the sky falling. I know that it puts you in a bad mood to lose to us, but your young QB and newly acquired WR really put on a hell of a show tonight. You're going to be fine and are building a strong offense. Congrats on a good game, that was a blast to watch.

Yeah, but that's not a problem unique to the Jets. The Phins are the #1 rushing team in the league at this point. And Henne did play very well, but I think the deciding factor was the Miami OL (or Jets DL depending on how you look at it). This is the first game all season that I've seen our QB have time in the pocket, and our blocking on the second level was really good (typically it is out of the wild cat, but it was solid out of the base formation today). It's a loss, but shouldn't be a huge setback for your team.

While I am confident that we'll win the next 3 before the bye, I am tired of hearing that "teams need it more" or "must win to keep the season alive" just like tonight and against the titans. BULLSHIT. Every week is a must win in the NFL. Elite teams beat the opponents that they should. We don't. Yes, the phins are better than their record indicates, but the Jets (and their elite defense) should have taken care of the phins tonight. NO pass rush. NO adjustments for the wildcat. The D couldn't shake blockers. Couldn't get off the field on 3rd downs. Just bad. I thought that last week would provide a bit of a wake up call. This better open some eyes, because clearly the Jets aren't as good as everyone thought they were. We have a lot of work to do, but I think we are still in decent shape if we TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AGAINST TEAMS THAT WE SHOULD.

Its like that on most boards when a team loses, especially a division game.

Im not worried about this team not being able to generate a pass rush though. The rush (except for tonight) has been there all season they just havent been getting sacks. But I expect that to change. This is still a new defense for a lot of these guys and getting Calvin back is only going to help.

I agree people need to calm down. This shit happens during a football season. They will simply learn from this and disect that gayass formation more for the next matchup. The offense looked good, Sanchez rebounded nicely. The D will rebound nicely.

Ditto!!! I know we're gonna be ok but to lose to fuggin Miami, that's almost as bad as losing to NE. Losing to ANY AFCE team is terrible, but time to move on to the Bills

They'll be back dont worry about that. Expect the Bills to be in a tough position come sunday as we rout them Defensively.

This just doesnt feel like the SOJ to me. I really believe in this coaching staff, FO, and the players.

I think the Jets have the right group of people on this team to learn from this, move on, and be better because of it. Usually when I start to lose confidence in the Jets its because I feel like the team (HC in particular) dont know whats wrong and or cant fix the problem. I dont think thats going to be a problem with Rex.

This team has the makings to be great. So the defense had a bad game against an annoying Offense like the WC. Stuff like that is going to happen. But Sanchez made some big improvements in this game. He protected the ball, knew when to get rid of the ball, and just played a good all around football game.

Edwards is really going to help the growth of Mark Sanchez as an NFL QB. Cotchery wasnt involved much tonight but he's a little banged up right now. Leon was busting off some nice runs and the O-Line and running game as a whole played well. Keller needs to get involved. I dont know if thats his fault or Sanchez's but that has to change. Clowney stepped up and showed that he can play a role on this offense.

The problem tonight was the Defense and thats something i'm not all that worried about. Maybe we dont have the best D in the NFL. So what. This D is still damn good and I expect them to bounce back.

Brylon Edwards will make this team, no I take that back, HAS MADE THIS TEAM a whole lot more dangerous. Think about how this game would have gone without him there tonight. You guys will be set the rest of the season. Kudos.
