Talking about that final offensive play he said obviously we had to get in the end zone.

Is that what the coahes told him?

Is that why inexplicably J-Co, B-Easy and Keller were all running routes in the end zone?

Does the coaching staff not know we could have gotten a 1st down and get another 4 attempts at the end zone?

Do they not know that in late game situations when the offense must score a TD defenses are thought to defend 2 yards deep in the end zone and you can pretty much get anything underneath?

Hmm, the first down marker was at the 2 yard line and it was 4th down. Of course most of our receivers are going to running routes in the end zone

Why did he throw it away? He should have thrown a catchable ball and hoped for the best. Throwing it away did the Jets no good!

The Jets are in deep trouble within the division. Miami is now 3-0 in division games. They can afford a loss next week. Then he schedule gets MUCH easier for a while.

    Go Phins!

Hmmm it was but there is no need to have your top 3 receivers all running routes in the back of the end zone congesting it with defenders. Have 1 or 2 in there but have someone running a shallower route at the 1 yard line or end zone line. I saw the Colts do that either last week or the week before with Reggie wayne for a TD as the defense was so concerned about protecting the back of the end zone. Have some kind of stratification with the routes instead of calling a mini-Hail Mary play at the 15 yard line.

Anyone who thinks that the Jets did not have to throw the ball in the end zone on the 4th down play is an idiot.

I think you're the idiot. There was more than enough time on the clock, the Jets had TOs, and it wasn't a 4th and goal situation. Is that you Brian? Stop trying to justify your stupidity by pretending the situations are different than they were.

I find this hysterical that you listened to Sanchez in his post-game presser and you are wondering this about the play call. If you actually paid attention, Sanchez himself explains why everybody ended up in the same position in the back on the endzone

    My question is:

Why not try a running play on 2nd or 3rd down? Thomas Jones was looking good, on the last drive at least. We had 2:00 left on the clock and time to run off. The Dolphins' D was tired.

I couldn't agree more. If we kept pounding the rock with tj WORSE case we would have ended up with 4th and 2. Really didn't make sense the dolfags dline was gased I would have trusted our oline and jones to win this game over the passing game. Oy Vay what a disgusting loss.
