I stand firm that if we can win the next two games our whole outlook on season will do a complete 180 degrees. Our next 3 opponents- Jacksonville, NE, Carolina NE next 3 games- Indy, NY Jets, NO Is it out of the realm of possibility that we are in first place in the AFC East at the end of this 3 game run?
If the Jets lose the next three games they will be 4-7. Thanks for reaffirming your thread from last week.
Of course we all want that. BUT, the Jets need to stop finding ways to lose games they should have won..
Is it out of the realm of possibility that after 3 games you'll still make another thread highlighting shit that everybody knows already, Captain Obvious?
Holy crap, why do you find it necessary to create a new thread everytime a thought pops into your head?
yes I know you all write earth shattering posts on here- draft freeman, trump as owner, Phins superbowl bound etc... Last time I checked I don't remember anyone discussing NE next three games being against 2 undefeated teams and the third a heads up match with us. Am I wrong?
and the other intelligent threads everyone writes are thought out over days, written down and then posted on here. Is it not about posting thoughts and ideas. Why don't you guys take the time to have an opinion about the post rather then get so caught up in who is posting them Hate to break it to all you post bashers. I have been with this team a long long time, know what I am talking about and make smart football posts. Not bullshit like many of other posts in here.
What I'm gathering so far is that we're two games behind, if we make up three games the next three weeks we will then be one game ahead. I'm not done working out all the math but that's where I'm at right now. It's gonna be a late night.
Sorry but the Pats aren't going to lose the next 3 games. The way Indy is playing if the Jets were playing the Colts this week I would even say the Jets have a chance to win. Indy is ripe for a loss. And we're going to give it to them. Then you're next. As far as the Saints go, who knows. Even if we lose to the Saints in week 12 it's ok, we'll beat them in the Superbowl.
Your threads are like a bunch of unnecessary farts before actually taking a shit. They may be enjoyable for you, but for everyone else they just stink up the joint.
The post is addressing, to see who believes it is feasible, not not where it woud put us. Why is it such a bad post to speak of New Englands next three opponents. I would say its a huge deal and not sure how all you genuises overlooked it.
I enjoy the jets and I enjoy reading posts, I dont enjoy the fact that people jump on a post without giving it thought or merit.
I'm breaking balls. I like that they have some tough games but it doesn't matter, you have to go out and play them. We lost at home to Buffalo, they almost did. Last year we lost at Oakland and won at NE and Tennessee, you just never know. The biggest thing is our game up there, win it and we get tie-breaker, nullifying the other division losses unless Miami makes a run. From there we'd be back in the hunt, there's half a season left.
From the Jets site: "I think to give ourselves an honest chance to get in the playoffs, it?s six,? said Edwards. ?I think this year a 10-6 team can get in because of all the average-ness going on. There are a lot of one-, two-, three- and four-loss teams, so realistically 10-6 is a good number.? That means the Jets would have to go 6-2 against eight opponents with a combined schedule strength of .563 (36-28), not as difficult as New England's .585 (38-27) but tougher than Buffalo's .516 (33-31) and Miami's .453 (29-35 before tonight's Pittsburgh-Denver game)." Our remaining schedule is slighter easier then the Patsies, the Phins have a much easier road, but they're 3-5. It's Simple, we beat the Jags and Pats and the Pats have to lose-
It is possible. All three of our upcoming games could go either way, but it would not shock me to see us win all three. Beating NE there will be tough, but certainly can happen. I would be very surprised to see NE lose the next three, but you are right that their schedule is tough.
Thank you for reading the thread giving it some credence and acknowledging it. I find it funny that everyone think its staing the obvious when not not post or response talks about the schedule NE has around our game with them.
