I'm not taking anything away from the Jets. You're absolutely right, we played an incredible game! But, I'm also saying that this was a Pats team that was under prepared. You saw that from week one when they nearly lost to the Bills. All the easy throws that were missed, some that could've broke for big plays. The Pats O-Line not being able to handle the pressure the Jets defense applied. All these things are taken care of in preparation leading up to the game. As far as the Colts game... Like I said, I'm a realist.
The patriots are a different team we faced in week 2. They were the without a couple players. Now they are healthy and we're out a couple players. Any given Sunday any team can win. Not this one. Bill was to embarrass both the coach and the kid after losing the last week and the last time we played.
Hmm ... You make it sound like BB can do whatever he wants ... Must have been an imposter on the sidelines when he coughed up a hairball and went for it on 4 and 2 against the Colts ... Yeah he is still human, and like you alluded to ... on any given Sunday ( This Sunday is no different ), well as they always say " That is why they play the game" ...
listen, the pats are one of the weakest redzone teams in the league. if theyre not scoring td's on long plays, theyre not scoring td's! plus, what have the pats done that makes people think theyve changed so much? put up numbers on some of the worst d's in the league?? when your offense looks good against tenn, tampa, and indy i am not impressed win or lose, this should be another close one
The hatred for the Pats is definitely interesting. I never thought about it, but my hatred for the pats probably influenced my fan hood for the Jets. I put my faith in both Rex and Mark, and I believe that they will harbor success for us in the future. The Pats, I don't think they are that invulnerable. I think they media hypes them up too much. I believe we have the potential to come out with a close win!
