yes, wanting to win every game you play is greedy. no, wait, it isn't, that's what every team does. not to mention, with the first round bye, if you don't play your players, they'll essentially have two or more weeks off between a meaningful game. yeah, that's how you keep your team sharp for the playoffs. I mean, the Saints aren't probably playing so well because they are in a groove established from repetition and experience, so breaking their normal cycle probably wouldn't hurt their chemistry one bit. of course not. not to mention a player doesn't have any more of a chance getting injured on the final game of a season if the team is 15-0 then it would if they were 14-1 or 10-5, so that simply isn't a factor you can reasonably worry about.
