Ah yes because at the time the Jets knew everything would fall for them. At the time it was a must win important game.

What's your point? So was the Tampa Bay game, so was the Buffalo game, etc.

You were wrong, that game would not have made this week meaningless, so there is no point in bringing up that negative bullshit.

It's not 100% correct because otherwise the loss would have eliminated us. This week is win and in, lose and out--that simple. Atlanta obviously wasn't.

I was at the next game, a week later.

LOL ok Chief because I am a darksider right?.... So it wasn't a big game at the time? Yeah looking back at the tiebreakers where every team that had to lose did so, kept the Jets in two weeks running. Yeah that is too negative to bring up huh? Ok my bad..... I was absolutely wrong on the meaningless part..... oh well. It doesn't mean I am not happy about getting a playoff game or two to watch.

I tell you what for now on I will PM you to see if my posts are too negative for you, Is that cool? Sorry to ruin your delicate sensibilities.

I think what is even stranger is that before the Atlanta game, I don't believe the Jets even controlled their own destiny. We ended up losing, and the next week we were in better shape than the week before, with a worse record.

2006 we had a win and in scenario, that's the last time we had a game this big at home.

2002 was on a different level after Vinatier made that kick. In my 170+ games at the Meadowlands that GB game was the best game I ever went to.

I agree, plus that was for a division and another home game, which we also ended up winning big.

For history's sake, we played this exact kind of game--at home, win and in--in 1981, 1985, 2002 and 2006, won them all.

I totally agree with you....week 16 of 1981! That was the first big game PERIOD the Jets had since KC playoff game back in 1969 up to that point. 2002 Packers game is also right there too!

When they played the Chargers during da Herm days, electric especially after they announced all the jets had to do was beat SD. They pored it on.

02 packers. After the first 5 minutes the game was over, and everyone in the stands knew I'd. We just spent the whole 60 minutes celebrating.

last year to the phons meant nothing. Anyone paying attention all last season knew there was no way we were 1. Winning or2. Getting any luck to help us get into the playoffs.

He is very important but they are not 2nd against the run based on one player, they have a good defense. They are also 6th in the NFL in rushing.

If they play their starters the whole game it will be a very close game as our passing game is a liability.

I hope we use a lot of play action to use slow down the defense.
