When does that get announced? Revis !!!!

Adam Schein on the post game yesterday saying he's voting for Woodson, how can that guy see Revis all season and vote for Woodson?

It is going to be between Woodsen and Revis. I felt the hype that Chad brought Revis during this week was good to show what Revis has done. Also Revis plays for a NY team that is #1 in the league. I know Woodsen has better stats but CB is more then just a stats position. He is the centerpiece to the leagues #1 Defense.

Adam Schein is a schmuck. I usually disagree with 75% of what he says.

He used to annoy me but if you watch him after Jet wins, he does love when they win.

Schein said he's picking Woodson. When asked why by Ray Lucas he says "9 interceptions"

Wow are you serious? he judges by interceptions?

Revis has dropped a few interceptions, which would have certainly helped him out in the voting... The problem now is, QB's at points just stopped throwing to Revis' side, so how is Revis supposed to rack up stats? Revis is definitely the best corner in the league.

You don't hear shit about "Woodson Island"

Revis has locked down the top WR of every team we played this season, picked off 6 passes, and has made great tackles in the running game. He is the main reason that Ryan's blitz packages have worked so effectively this season because the opponents' #1 WRs can never beat him.

Woodson has picked off 9 passes, ran 5 of them back for TDs, played just about every position in the secondary, and made great plays as a blitzing DB. He has move visible stats, he's been thrown at less than Revis, and his versatility makes him more attractive of a candidate for the Defensive MVP.

I understand why Schein and other writers are going to vote this way. I don't agree with it, but I understand.

Unfortunately, Woodson made a huge pick-6 yesterday to close out the season. That's how you win the award, by making the show-stopping play on the last day. Too bad for DR and Jet fans.

I thought Woodson got his 3rd pick six last night, not 5th?

Overall Revis is better, especially in 2009, but I bet Woodson gets it. He is getting up there in age and had a great year. Revis will be in the running for the next 10+ years.

woodson will get it with probable about 35 of 50 votes, ill say revis will get close to 10 votes.. Peter king and clark Judge are votying for revis but looking at who is voting too many of them are voting for woodson...

oh well I knew people would look at stats that stare them in the face instead of what stats teams didnt get on the jets

    Even Schien is voting Woodson..

Listen Woodson is probably going to get it..he has 3 pick 6's and 9 INT's i think.

Revis is the clear winner if you judge how he has shut down other players game, pass defenses, and 6 INT's, but again Woodson will probably win.

Woodson winning would be a joke. Here's how he did against some of his opponents #1 WRs:

    Hester: 4 catches, 90 yards, 1 TD
    Ochocinco: 4 catches, 91 yards, 1 TD
    Rice: 5 catches, 70 yards, 1 TD
Rice again: 4 catches, 40 yards
Roy Williams: 5 catches, 105 yards, 1 TD
    Crabtree: 4 catches, 77 yards, 1 TD
Calvin Johnson: 2 catches, 10 yards, 1 TD
    Mason: 2 catches, 13 yards
Hines Ward: 7 catches, 126 yards
    Houshmanzadeh: 4 catches, 51 yards
    Fitzgerald 3 catches, 17 yards

That's not a defensive MVP. No WR against Revis had a game like Hester, Ochocinco, Rice, Roy Williams, Crabtree, and Ward all had against Woodson. The only elite guys he shut down this year were Rice once, Fitz, Calvin, and Mason and Housh (if you even want to call the latter two elite). Compare that with Moss twice, Andre Johnson, White, Wayne, Ochocinco, Colston, Steve Smith, Holt, and TO twice, all of whom had less than 45 yards (with Moss having the only TD) against Revis, and it's not even close. The reason Woodson has so many INTs because they played a lot of crappy QBs this year - Cutler twice (in terms of throwing picks), Boller, Culpepper/Stanton, D. Anderson, Freeman, Alex Smith, Stafford, Hasselbeck, Leinart. Of course he's going to get a lot of picks against those QBs.
