Which is too bad, IMO....he was one of the players i was hoping the Jets would take a look at as a veteran backup to mentor Sanchez. I'm hoping he reconsiders.....He throws one of the better "accurate" long balls in the league.

He would be a great backup QB for Mark.

I hope as well, we should get rid of Kellen and take a shot at him. If not Bulger we definitely do need a Vet.

well...we have a connection with Bulger.....Henry Ellard, our WR's coach is very familiar with him.

On the flipside....Bulger is pretty banged up.....but if you stick him behind our oline, and he's not shellshocked....he could return to form if called upon...IMO.

I'd love to have Bulger on this team as a backup to Sanchez... he would actually be my first choice!

Best of all...I think Tanny could get him on the "cheap". The Pros certainly outweigh the Cons when it comes to Bulger being signed by the Jets.

I don't know why a guy like Bulger wouldn't go to a team to be a back-up. Seems like a no-brainer - you get paid to go to practice and maybe the chips fall that you wind up coming into a game but the expectations are low cuz you're a back-up and you can exceed them and be the hero. Or maybe you never see any action and you just sit back and collect those paychecks.

Bulger had a pretty good career and made some damn good money.

Yep, and as revenge the Rams never addressed their o-line so Bulger will be using that money to pay medical bills later in life. It's a vicious cycle.

Totally agree. Bulger is not a big money, flashy guy...he his shy & guiet. He already has plenty of $$$.

    I see 2 options:

    1) Bulger will protect any brain that he has left from being thrown around like a rag doll, without a decent O-line, forever....and he will call it a day, like his mentor, Kurt Warner, and retire.

    2) Bulger will emulate his mentor, Kurt Warner, who was fine taking a back seat, in New York, and mentoring Eli Manning. So IMHO, you have convinced me, it would be awesome if Bulger stayed in the NFL awhile longer & mentored Sanchez.

    Looks like no dice.

Sporting News just said that Bulger will be back in a Ram's uni next year.

Guess Marc wants to get thrown around like a rag doll some more before he retires.

His injury history could swerve the Rams into cutting him this offseason.....I thought this past season was his supposed "last chance" with the Rams braintrust.
