http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4813241 Arizona's next loss could mark the last time that quarterback Kurt Warner plays in an NFL game. He always could change his mind, but this likely will be the 38-year-old Warner's final NFL season, according to sources close to the quarterback.
Hall of Fame talk must come up now. I say yes. From nothing, to Super Bowl title and 2 more appearances.
Speaking of that, how crazy is it that Sanchez was the first of the Big 3 from USC (Palmer, Leinart, Sanchez) to start and win a playoff game?
My vote was that Kurt is a HOFer, now you can add today's performance to his postseason resume and stats, phenomenal.
I would have said he was a HOFer anyway, but I do think that today's game actually could make a big difference with some voters.
IMHO Warner would LOVE to stay in the NFL....he is fiercely competitive. However, if he retires, it will be to protect whatever brain he has left, from concussions, so that he can watch his 7 kids grow up.
