I wouldn't be surprised if plans for a Green JETS STADIUM banner coincidentally the size of the existing sign are in effect. Hang it up in the wee hours the night before, and worry about paying any fines later

I have to tell you I like that idea of the banner on the new place as well!!!!
That said many people are e-mailing and calling me saying THEY LUV MY IDEA and are VERY MUCH in favor of it.
Now lets get down to the order of business and play our best and BEAT the Chargers on Sunday!!

We need those damn air raid sirens we had against the pats. Those sirens contributed greatly to the madness in there that week.

Yes ABDUL---it has but if and when they play at home next week, how cool would it be to see the name on top of the stadium outside and then once inside for the guy on the PA to say " and thats another JET first down " and " WELCOME TO JETS STADIUM" the place would being going nuts !

I still think they should hire a bunch of out-of-work dudes to go in there and paint the bitch green if we get the AFC Championship game. How hard could that be? They're tearing it down anyway, why not?

Green floodlights outside on all four corners would be cool too. But at this point does not seem likely.

The name of the stadium can't legally be changed. One year the Jets had consecutive home games, and Woody tried to keep the "Jets" banner up all week between games, the Giants had a fit and complained to the Head of the Meadowlands Sports Complex.

PS The Jets had to take the banner down.

Could you imagne? The players walk in on Sunday and all the walls are green, nobody knows... the fans file in and the seats and walls are Forest Green. I couldn't imagien tuning in and seeing that. Wait I'd find a way to be there.

Moot point though as the Colts are in control.... bastards.

It's kind of sad that almost all the teams left are dome teams. We're the only open air, it's cold as balls outside team left in the playoffs, it would have been nice having the Chargers or Colts playing in the Meadowlands.

It'll be pretty sad if the final four is 3 dome teams and a team that plays in California. Nothing against any of those teams, but it would be sad that there aren't any cold weather teams left.

I don't see it happening like that tho! GO JETS!!!
