By pointing out these things he shows a great lack of Football intelligence.. You can play this game with any outcome and pick 5 plays... Heck, when the Pats won I remember about 8 games full of "Divine Intervention"... Guess what - Super Bowl teams happen to get lucky more often than not..... This is just foolish though.... The BIGGEST CALL OF THE GAME was that call the Replacy guys overturned - No call he's whining about was bigger and more obvious a mis-call than that....
Yeah, that's actually a lite filling for Butterhips... He usually has a bowl of CheezyPorks spilling all over the table... pt. 2 will be up in a little while.
it's not a lack of football knowledge it's his biased opinions against the Jets. if you had flipped the game around and the jets had missed 3 FG's and lost 17-14 with the same unlucky pass int. misfortunes he would not be bringing this up. i already have proof. in that falcon game the jets missed 3 FG's yet he didn't want to hear the jet fans excuses. he said bottom line is winning, and thats all that matters. when discussing jet defensive stats he kills the jet fan saying stats mean nothing, it's all about wins but now that the jets are winning he's looking at ways to make it lucky or a should have lost scenario joe and evan got on mike a few minutes ago claiming how they don't know why mike has been killing the jets this entire year. they said mike is completely 100% wrong on the jets since the colts game. unfortunately the fat tank will look at this colts game as a measure of whether the jets are better then average. if they lose he'll say how they should have never been there anyways blah blah i just want to hear him call the jets average again
don't watch don't listen!!! There are so many other shows u can watch ,hell the NFL network is 24 / 7!! 1050 is so much more objective-------turn the dial --do yourself a favor Francessa is unlistenable if thats even a word
I can't believe that is his take on the game. Every game has fortunate bounces of the ball, and breaks. What about the reversed fumble for SD yesterday? What about the 2 fumbles that bounced right into the arms of Chargers (on the kickoff after the Jets took the lead, and on Kerry Rhodes blitz)? All he said all week was for the Jets to go out and beat a top team like SD, and that would get them respect everywhere. He is unbelivable!
fat ass forgot to mention how lucky SD was for putting the ball on the ground 3 times and not loosing possession.
How did the block in the back have no bearing on the play? Leonhard was in position to make the tackle, and it was a clear clip. The runner wasn't by him yet. that's just a bad decision by Floyd, and it cost them.
it had no bearing on the play because it doesn't support francesa's argument if you listen to him a lot like i do then you know he is king of skewing stats in his favor
the 2nd video wasn't that bad. he finally started to give the jets credit although you know it pains him. a couple of arrogant jet fans tomorrow are going to call him up and tick him off and then he'll turn into 1st video tankcesa.
Random request: can someone who's good with Photoshop/graphic design, please let me know (PM me or I'll PM you). I have an idea for a picture with this fucktard; it's pretty basic and prolly wouldn't take more than like 10 mins to create. I don't really have much to offer in exchange except credit for the photo, and I can give vCash or something.
It's hilarious how he just assumes that, if not for the floyd block in the back, the Chargers DEFINATELY would have scored a TD to make it 14-3. It's like, in any 50-50 scenario, assume the Chargers would have made the most of their opportunities, IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT (AS HE READILY ADMITS) THE CHARGERS DIDN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR OPPORTUNITIES ALL GAME LONG. Funny guy.
Btw, overall, I honestly didn't think it was all that bad. I generally agree with him that the Jets got outplayed in the first half but that their defense dominated most of the second half. The biggest two issues I have with his analysis are: A) No mention of the FOUR Charger fumbles that SD all managed to come up with (incuding the PREPOSTEROUS overturn of the fumble recovery the Jets actuallly did make. B) His claim that the Revis pick was all luck (i.e. refusing to acknowledge the obviously tremendous awareness and hand-eye-coordination on Revis' part.
This is the thing... I don't think the Jets were outplayed in the 1st half. I think like a great boxer we let them show us what they had and we turned it on when we needed to. Once our offense saw a bit of the Chargers D we pretty muched moved the ball without any issues except penalties and an INT slowing us down. If we were outplayed we'd have been down 21-0 at the half. The Chargers had 4 fumbles and all of them bounced back to them, I knew on the 2nd play of the game when the snap went over Rivers head they weren't going to beat us. The Colts won't whimper so easily and have the same mental breakdowns.
