    De/dt

We all know we need some depth at DL so... Undrafted FA any ideas who will fall out of draft. Didn't rex say he feels confident he can groom DE/DT in later rounds?

This topic did need it's own thread. Bad execution by the OP, though.

I'm hoping we can find ourselves a nice sizable UDFA, ASAP.

well we sort of need to wait till the middle of the 7th to start speculating on who will be undrafted....

When do UDFAs usually start getting signed anyway ?

I usually never paid much attention after the draft ends.

There's a new presser on the Jets' official website.

Ryan and Tannenbaum discuss today's selections and trades.

Tanny mentioned getting back to work so he could sign a few UDFAs tonight.

I think we'll have at least two or three new players a couple hours after the draft.

I remember Danny Woodhead getting a call from the Jets like seconds after the draft ended.

Hopefully Douglas will be resigned, I see no reason not to, especially with the depth along the DL being extremely weak.

Is there really that much difference in skill level between players drafted in the last couple of rounds and UDFA?

generally no, which is why Tanny loves trading away those 6-7 round picks to make sure he lands the guys he wants.

I am stilll in shock Freddie Barnes and Kyle Calloway are available... its just mind boggling to me. But you know what I sure as hell hope they go undrafted, I think Tanny would have them in here in a NY minute.

If Barnes and Calloway and Capers go undrafted I'd have to think Tanny is going to go for any one or all of them. Seyi Ayijirotu(sp?) is also available as well and he could be a great UDFA pick up as well as a WR. I see Dekoda Watson from FSU is around. Damn no Mickey Shuler for us though. Was hoping he was going to fall to UDFA.

Antonio Coleman, DE/LB, Auburn will be a guy to watch as far as UDFA.

6'3 around 260, decent speed, led the SEC in sacks last year playing hurt for the majority of the year. Plays the run well as well as a solid pass rusher. I am actually very surprised he has not been drafted, but I think he would be a very solid option as far as UDFA.

Was Deaderick drafted? He's a true 3-4 DE and could be a great pick up

Seyi is a good player find it hard to believe he wouldnt get drafted, but that said I would love to see all of them brought in as well. Heck there are currently lots of guys still out there who would be great UDFA's including Blount as well
