ummm....fuck off, Finnegan. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/06/25/finnegan-revis-will-work-out-together/
That's some lofty praise from Finnegan. I remember 2 years ago when we ran the Wildcat with Washington, he took a pretty hard shot at Favre, who was lined up wide. Had I known how that season would have ended, I would have cheered him on....
I'm not comfortable having Revis teaching other NFL cornerbacks his trade secrets....I'm hoping he keeps most of his knowledge (the important stuff anyway) close to his vest. The only people that should receive invites to this workout are Kyle Wilson, Antonio Cromartie, Dwight Lowery, Brodney Pool and Jim Leonhard........
I despise Finnegan, when we beat the undefeated Titan team 2 years ago he was the biggest dirtbag on the team, i hate him and how dirty he is
What Revis does can't be taught. I'm sure he has his own techniques and secrets how he does it, but his study habits and his natural ability to play the game is what sets him apart. Finnegan is going to leave flustered...
it's like having other NFL 3-4 defensive coordinators flying in to Newark for a 5-day seminar on how to run a 3-4 defense....given by Rex Ryan. It sounds paranoid, I suppose.......but i don't believe rival players should be privy to the knowledge our players have acquired in-house. Just my feelings on this....i don't expect everyone to share the same opinion.
Wouldn't this be like Rex Ryan going over defensive schemes with Jeff Fisher. I know they're buds and all but, child please-
isnt this sorta like all the ex miami hurricanes working out together?? frank gore andre johnson jeremy shockey jonathon vilma
They should all be banned, what if in Revis' ill mood towards the Jets he gives away some inside info. What if they drug him, or hold him down and beat it out of him?? This season is too important to have other players raping our Revis!
Hey some players from different teams develop friendship and they train together... this is all that's happening!
Revis doesnt have secrets. He just studies WR tape, and see's how they react every single play. His secret is working his fucking balls off.
Isn't there like a song? There once was a man named Cortland Finnegan Here he goes letting touchdowns in again Learning from Revis will make his head spin again Oh, Cortland Finnegan.
Ditto. The guy plays with heart, and his comments here are entirely humble. He's not even in our division. What's all the hate about? What Revis does isn't entirely based on watching film and/or technique. A lot of it is pure big-bang given talent and instincts. That can't be taught.
This...every corner knows how to play man...Revis can just do it better than others cus he knows wat routes WRs are running
