Let him get some experience before we ugrade him to island. Plus, that Revis Island crap probably cost us our best defensive player in years.

Really? I was thinking 9 was a really low number. I'm predicting about 24 - it'll be Gholston's tribute to Darrelle Revis.

tonight is going to be about running the football and determining if any of our backups can win a spot on defense.

    DL Steinkuler vs. Kroul

LB wise its Cummings vs. Laury,

    CB wise, Cole vs. Jackson

S wise, nobody has a shot that isnt on the team

Offensively dont be shocked if both Woodhead and Mcknight have good games

Also a big battle tonight might be Clowney vs. Larry Taylor. Whoever plays the best game at ST will likely make the roster imo.

Should be an ugly game, but a great one for the diehards hoping their guys pull through.

    can't wait.

I think that would work better for a center like Mangold Triangle, you don't want Jenkins to disappear you want him to be noticed, but you want Mangold to make guys like Jenkins never seen.

..that is if you were to use it at all.

Will Cummings play? I heard he had some problems with his shoulder and didn't practice a lot...

He's another guy I'll root for if he plays though...

Dude no way Gholston gets 24 sacks in this game when he only had 1 all of last preseason, 9-12 is much more realistic.

Cummings is the backup ILB, he will be on the roster regardless of this game.

    Right.

    Historic...As in...'in the past'....

So..he's looking to get overpaid on the potential of catching lightning in a bottle twice.

    Yeah..great argument.

    I'm thinking 1998....Ryan Leaf...Matt Hasselbeck...

There's more to it than potential ability.

At this level professionalism comes into play.

I hope McKnight finally gets it...what bothers me is that (and I know its reading waaaayyy too much into it) there's no obvious bond between Sanchez and McKnight former backfield mates.....

I haven't seen McKnight do anything good so far. He had a nice punt return which he couldn't finish cause he ran out of gas... after about 40 yards... what kind of HB can't run 40 yards without running out of gas? This has got to be one of the most poorly conditioned athletes we've ever had on the field.

Also, he holds the football so far from his body, I would be SHOCKED if he doesn't fumble at least once tonight.

I'm more excited for Woodhead to make the team IMO, I think he would be more valuable and productive than McKnight at this stage.

I'm definitely interested in seeing what he has to offer at this level. I'm predicting he gets at least one forced fumble.

I want to see modest things here....

The secondary not get sliced and diced.

I want to see both sides of the line hold their own.

To be quite honest the 2's and 3's have stunk up the joint. So modest improvement would be nice....

I want to see Special Teams to keep kicking ass.

    Individually:

These are players I would like to see step up
    Kroul
    Laury
    Westerman
    Lowery
    Coleman- lol
    Cole
    Jackson
    Clowney
    Mcknight
    B Smith
    C. Washington
    Slauson
    Iambigyo
    Woodhead

I would put the Terminator on the list but he has been playing well.
