Luckily the Jets had no injuries in this game. Get the win in Denver and fucking rest up during they bye. It'll be well deserved.
Yeah, this is what I'm concerned about too. The ghosts of those 2008 west coast games still haunt me.
I only bothered with the first few minutes and saw the drive when Denver stopped Baltimore on the goal line. I never went back to that game after that. If you saw the whole thing, was Orton truly good in the second half or was it more like the Baltimore defense played soft with a big lead?
I hope thats the cse, he's been good lately. I can't belive I'm typing this, but Coleman is becoming importnt to this defense. Yikes!
It looked to me like he got the wind knocked out of him, but I wasn't sure if it was that or an injury he could play through.
Rex prepares better than any coach that the Jets have had since Woody owned the team. They'll do fine on the west coast.
Broncos have one of the strongest passing games in the league today. However, the rest of the team just isn't as good (offensively & defensively). If Revis isn't ready to go then the Jets will be in trouble but Rex was pretty smart by not making Revis chase Moss running downfield all night. Hopefully, this helped Revis be closer to 100% for the Broncos game.
their secondary sucks already when they're healthy, and now they're injured. and they have no run game at ALL. Although Moreno might come back next week, so that would give them a best. I'm a bit worried about this game. Denver is always a tough place to play
I haven't watched any of the Broncos games but from looking at the box score last week the Broncos got the absolute shit kicked out of them and people are talking about Orton like he single-handedly beat the 85 Bears defense. The guy threw a couple of long TDs at the end of each half, and they were losing by 2 scores+ almost the entire game. Denver has lost to the Jaguars and 1 of their 2 wins was against Seattle @Denver. Not exactly seeing what's so scary about this team or the supposed offensive juggernaut. Completely one dimensional teams are very easy to game plan for.
How does drafting Tebow in the first round working for them now? Three other 2010 QB draftees are starting this week for their teams and Tebow may be #3 on his team. Orton is having a probowl year and set to make a shitload of money. I'm happy for the guy, he has been one of the most underrated playing in the league and on his own team.
Not so fast.......the Broncos are a better team than Buffalo. And the Jets have one less day to prepare (actually 2 days if you count travel to Denver) Tremendous homefield advantage. The Jets are the better team here but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos take the game.....whatever happens I can see the Jets 9-2 going into Foxboro....
I was only comparing Buffalo and Denver because another poster said it's a trap game, just like what people were saying about the Buffalo game. Buffalo is one of the worst teams in the league. Denver, even with the injuries, are a better team, yes.
Having a short week and traveling cross country is more of a concern for me than their pass happy offense with a 2-3 record.
That, plus the altitude is an equalizer. If Thomas is out and its 3 WRs to worry about instead of 4 then I'll feel a lot better about our pass D. Even with that, our defensive coaching staff will figure it out. We just get a little too crazy with the all-out blitzes for my comfort.
