I think that Childress cut Moss to intentionally incite Wilf to fire him. He knew that he was losing his job after the season anyway, so he tried to reframe his firing as being because of a lost power struggle with ownership instead of because he was an awful coach.
Frazier should bench Farve, period. He's the second worst rated starting QB in the NFL. Of course, we play Minny in Minny........
No they should cut him if they don't want him to play. There's no use benching him cus he'll just make the situation worse. Get him off the team if you don't wanna play him anymore. I don't think Jackson is any good anyway so there's no use playing him. The QB of the 2011 Vikings isn't currently on the roster so you may as well play the guy you're paying $20 million for. Worst case, he'll lock up a top 10 pick for them
Benching Favre sends a message to the team that if you don't produce, you sit. You have to earn your way on the field. Also, if the Vikings don't believe in Jackson, he shouldn't be wearing purple.
F*ng douchebags. I just set up NFLN to DVR a short version of the game, and they have the drama queen on.
I disagree with this. They will almost certainly draft a quarterback in the first round this coming offseason but Jackson can still be a good backup quarterback because of his experience. If he were to play I don't think he's going to be much better than Favre but it's worth a shot, they are done. What I'm curious about is whether or not the Vikings are committed to Frazier to be a HC after this season or if what he does this season plays a factor.
I knew he was going to get fired him and Brett Farve never got along. He wasn't a really good coach anyway.
Vikings have no excuses now, they got rid of the so called problem of the team. Now things should run like clockwork.
