This makes me incredibly joyous to write during the holidays and here goes..... I have been a Jets fan since the 80's, the sack exchange etc......I am not an adult diaper, onset of dimensia, SOJF. I remember the 10-1 team and this team is different, way different. The Jets play tough teams in the end .... The Pats, Steelers and Bears. You know what this Jets team is going to rise to the occasion and beat them. This Jets team is a tougher more resilient bunch. They certainly are not bigtime losers like the SOJF's. Sure the Jets have not dominated any of the mediocre opponents lately, so the fuck what. They have been winning and every great team pulls games out thinner than the frontal of some 90 y/o mouth breathing SOJF....... that is a razor thin margin btw. I can't wait to say this but I see the Jets winning the division, getting home field advantage and 2 weeks rest going into the playoffs. oh and Fuck you same old Jets fans please die in a fire.
Yeah! It's incredible how some fans have no faith or a positive outlook! I've only been a fan for 12 years so my jet history is young! But damn can't people think good about the jets for once! I love the jets. Always have and always will! Were going 8-0! And holding a trophy up!!!!!!!! J. E. T. S jets jets jets!
Thank you. Rex has began changing the teams culture, it's about time fans follow the lead. If you believe otherwise, root for the Giants.
Why the hell not? I personally feel that a win this weekend locks up the East, but why not do it in style? 14-2 #1 AFC seed!
As a Pats fan I agree that the winner of this game takes the AFCE but the Jets more so than the Patriots. Both teams have tough games coming up after this but the Pats schedule is a little bit tougher.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Why are some of our fans afraid to feel confident? Why not us? We're fucking due, no? We have a God damn stacked team, we should feel confident. I remember all the bad times from 1982 on, and the Leonhard injury notwithstanding, I'm as confident as I've ever felt. '86 never felt like our year to me. '98 was more our year than that, but this year...the COACH. That's where I'm leaving it. We have winning ball players who play for a winning coaching staff. I won't even type the acronym, that shit is D-E-A-D. Live in the fucking past at your own God damn peril.
I feel a presence, a dark presence......oh no its................a darksider......(just looking at whos reading this thread.)
I can't wait to look back on the start of the Rex Ryan Jets era in 10 years and see how we have become the perennial playoff team like the Colts & Pats have been. It will be even more awesome if we have a coulpe of rings to go along with it. I am definitely optimistic about the next 10 years and I don't necessarily think not winning the SB this year is a failure of the team. Getting to the playoffs and being a force every year is successful for THIS team. 6th seed or 1st seed. Just get into the big dance. Every opportunity in the playoffs gives you another chance to get to the Superbowl.
6-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we score so many points in the next five games that the league gives us back two points on the Ravens game as a bonus for awesomeness. What? Too much?
I'm bummed over the Jim Leonhard news - he played great in the playoffs for us last year. Other than that, I'm with you brother! What makes the other teams better than us this year? We haven't played our best football yet! Do I get to survive the fire, or do I burn for mentioning the broken leg?
8-0! Were winning every damn game and every playoff game and the superbowl!! I have confidence in my jets. Rather OUR jets!! This lame shit is ridiculous! Come on a die heart jets fan shouldn't excpect anything but greatness. Even if we were 0-11 we should have confidence in our beloved jets!!! That's what a jets fan is about!
the sick feeling ihe stomach ive grown accustomed to every sunday is starting to fade, although relapses occur sometimes (see jets vs texans pre final minute)
