We already have as many wins as last season, so I don't think so. LT has been a leader and Slauson has played well enough, there has been little to to no drop off on the line untill Woody went out.

You know whats hurting us right now? Our receivers dropping passes and our QB not playing consistantly. Last I checked Jones and Faneca were not big time pass catchers for us.

no way LT is a better leader than tj--- LT has looked shitty lately ---good wr for a rb but thats it right now... as far as a leader -- jones was the heart and soul of the team--- a leader shows himself when things are going crappy-- The question is can LT lift this team like jones did?

I get the impression that LT is liked in the NYJ locker room, and he's been vocal this year. Slauson has been here a couple years, he knows the rest of the OL and the zone blocking scheme; he also has been a clear upgrade in pass protect and almost as good in the run game as Faneca was. I'm sure the locker room is fine with the roster right now.

WTF is this? LT not playing well so he's a bad leader? When did Jones "lift the team" when the chips were down? TJ fizzled out down the stretch last year, and performance is the barometer you're using.....

Chemitry is very important in every team sport, but it isn't really the chemistry with this team, it's individual being inconsistant. Chemistry is easily noticed when it's good, A QB knowing his WR's strength in catching certain passes for instance, good chemistry would be if say Edwards wasn't comfortable with passes being thrown to his numbers, say he is much better extending or catching the ball coming toward his face or over the shoulder and Sanchez obliged.

Chemistry comes with time, getting to know one another's strengths and weaknesses and helping a player out, cause you will know at what points they may be in a situation where the may not perform best. The Jets don't have the best chemistry but it's obvious they have a lot of new guys, even after 16 games you're still not going be completely in sync.

The drops weren't a result of poor chemistry, is that what you're sayin? I'd say a lack of focus/poor execution/maybe wet ball or any combination resulted in the dropped passes.

Team geometry is all wrong. Schotty trying to fit a trapezoidal peg into a curvalinear hole far too often.
