Any of the players I listed would be okay with me, but I'd prefer Moeaki and Watson because I think they are good blockers in addition to being threats in the passing game whereas Tamme and Hernandez and Keller seem to be a bit underwhelming as blockers. Heck, Tamme and Hernandez almost aren't true tight ends.

There is actually no single official All-Pro team. The Sporting News produces an All-Pro team as does the Associated Press and Pro Football Weekly. The AP team is the most popular one simply because they advertise theirs better than do TSN and PFW. Make no mistake, though. One is not more prestigious than the other two.

Anyway, all of them usually get announced the week between the Wild Card and Divisional rounds.

Yeah, there aren't that many well rounded TE's who can block and catch passes. Witten and Heath Miller are two I can think of off the top of my head and even Miller isn't at the top of the bunch.

But you know how it goes with the Pro-Bowl, the fans want scoring so blocking and the fundamentals are sort of neglected with this position.

I don't think Keller makes it because he's been absent for several weeks and also because he's made some critical mistakes on the field (the Baltimore game missing the first down, etc).

Do they take 2 or 3 TEs?

I was thinking the same thing. Weatherford seemed pretty average last year but this year he has been perfect except for that new england debacle...maybe it was those shake weight workouts. Also, i dont know how his whole year went but the punter on the Dolphins could get into the pro bowl on that one game he had against the Jets a few weeks ago.

Keller was named 2nd alternate for the Pro Bowl.

so he's pretty much on the team.
