It looks like a week of practicing the fundamentals paid off.

I know we should take this win with a grain of salt- it was the Bills. But the front seven played like Jets today. Easily Calvin Pace's best game of the year. Pouha played an outstanding game as well- he was a constant disruptor inside.

I feel really good about our young guys, too. Dixon and Gilbert look like guys who can contribute, and I haven't seen anything I haven't liked out of Josh Mauga this season. I don't know what kind of playing time he can get with Scott and Harris on the team, but Mauga is going to develop into a very good linebacker.

Even Westerman and Laury made some impact plays. Nothing but gravy from the front seven today. Big props on the pseudo-shutout.

Totally. I was using the same grain of salt, but whatever. Good to see Pace getting a feel.

Both Manning and Brady hate getting hit, so if we can get some pressure knock them on their ass a couple of times, you never know.

Marcus Dixon and Jarron Gilbert did a nice job today.

It still doesn't change the fact that we need to bring in some young guys on the line.

I think the coaches had a great game in the sense that it felt like they took the reins off the defense for this game and let them fire around the field.

I hope this carries over into the playoffs... if we suddenly have a consistent pass rush we'll be very hard to beat.

For the snaps that he saw Gilbert played very well, but drafting talent and depth for our front 7 is obviously a must.

Great, young 34 DEs are so damn sexy. I really hope we end up drafting one with an early pick.

It really was great to see the Jets get consistent pressure today.

I don't know how much we can read into this. Buffalo didn't even show up today. It was nice to get 11 wins and see some good things from the backups but I don't think you can say anything we did today will transfer to the playoffs.

They played the Bills today with a 3rd string qb. Let's see them do it next week.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten to see more of Westerman this year with the pass rush lacking.. figure it couldn't hurt to at least give him a shot.

Probably most of the people on a Jets internet message board.

If you don't care about the team and its players, then I'm not really sure why you would be here.

Because they might be forced into action.
