No, I'm just making my position clear. Now that Joe has gotten where he needs to be...we should be apeing what NE does.
In those 2 games, the Jets fell behind big and it forced Schotty to be one-dimensional. When the opposing defense knows all you are going to do is pass they can really pick you apart.
Can we all just agree that Schotty and Sanchez both have issues that sometime compound themselves into horrific offensive performances and skip the whole one side blaming Schotty with the other pointing out all the mistakes the players on the field are making thing we always do? It's played out and nobody is going to change anyone's mind on it at this point. P.S. looking like Schotty is gonna be back next year... have fun with that haters.
What? What are those percentages even from? There is a undeniably giagantic difference in Nacho's play @Foxboro vs @Home vs. NE. If you want to argue that, than I'm done. I understand the defense played much worse too, but that doesn't excuse Nacho. @Foxboro Code: Cmp Att Yds TD INT QB Rating 17 33 164 0 3 8 21 136 1 4 ------------------------------------------------- 25 54 300 1 7 15.10 @Home vs. Pats Code: Cmp Att Yds TD INT Rating 14 22 163 1 0 21 30 220 3 0 ---------------------------------------------- 35 52 383 4 0 114.5
No. Sanchez issues are Schotty's issues. Schotty asks for two things far too often. Throws OUTSIDE the Numbers, and... Throws down the field. Mark should be playing inside Penningtons comfort zone. Inside Routes. Intermediate Routes....SOME down and out routes. (Unlike China Doll he can throw them....) But the problem with Schitty is the starting point. That is the whole argument. In Pitt and Chi he called good games. Out of 17.
WSW...look at the Compl/Att. WHENEVER he's above 60..that's good. But at the end of the day, his completions were the same relative to attempts. Two more TD's has other variables to consider.
Sanchez played 2 terrible games vs the Patriots and 2 pretty good games. Its tough to win in Foxboro. He can do it though. Ground and pound baby! Score first. Play good defense. Jets win.
You had Sanchez as like the 5th best QB in the league last week if you removed Schotty from the equation... sorry for not taking your assessment of these things completely seriously.
Given good playcalling he's capable of 65% compl. pct. Plug that into his QB rating, tell me where that puts him. He's engineered yet ANOTHER 4th Qtr comeback. Has won 20+ Games in his first two years. He's 3/1 in the playoffs. Rodgers...? Not so much. Rivers...Nope. He's actually outperformed Flacco in the playoffs before yesterday... And they all have the benefit of better playcalling. (Excepting possibly Rivers...who is asked to go down the field a bit)
i agree, but sanchez still made AWFUL decisions. That Brandon Spikes interception was ridiculous. If it got past Spikes it was going into 3 Pats Dbacks.
This is a top of the league team in just about every area of the game expect 1 big spot...............More reasons to play Jet Football, ground and pound......... and hide(the QB). FTWats_suck: That's weird never picked pink while messing?!!1
Sanchez better play great. If he plays like shit at Foxboro again, he'll never have confidence playing there.
