Sanchez Pick Six: OK, this was a bad throw. It was floating and the defender read it. It was accurate, but needed to be a much flatter throw. Anyways, I was screaming at the TV when this happened. Initially I was screaming at Sanchez, but then I realized the refs kept on fucking the Jets on every Ravens D score. Have a look and tell me why this isn't roughing the passer penalty. Sanchez already got rid of the ball and Suggs hadn't touched him yet. Once the ball is out, Suggs grabs a hold of the QB, which is fine as he was already in motion. But then he spins Sanchez, who hits the OL. Suggs could have let him go. He didn't he continued to shove Sanchez and slams him to the turf by pulling his jersey.
Yes it was roughing the passer. He was also hit by a defender leading with his helmet on the 'fumble' that wasn't even a fumble. He's clearly bothered by the visor he's wearing, a result of another no call last week. Open season on Sanchez apparently.
the umpires are racist against sanchez. noticed it from the first AFCCG @ Indy when Sanchez got drilled late.
There was no way the refs could have done anything for us to help us win this game. We played like shit and deserved to lose worse then we did.
there was at least 4 or 5 no calls, 2 of which should've been roughing the punter penalties on conley.
Bro we were within 10 in FG range. Our defense only allowed 10 points. Jets deserve to win every game. GTFO with your self loathing bullshit
our pass rush sucks so badly they don't even call holding. i saw a few ridiculous holds, but that happens almost every other play.
It shouldn't be. The spear in Sanchez's back on the 2nd fumble was clearly missed. Not any worse than half of Eric Smith's helmet shots in his career. Ngata should get fined for it.
I think that both the fumbles were bogus calls. The second one was pretty obvious with Ngata leading with his helmet, even though it was a forward pass. The first one should have been called a tuck rule as well as the forward motion had started he Sanchez pretty much loses the ball before the forward motion stopped. Then this pick six should have been a roughing the passer penalty. Thats 21 points. Then u take in to account the missed personal foul penalties on running in to the kicker/punter, and Jets should have won this game. Ravens couldn't do shit when they had the ball either. They had a nice time chewing drive, but besides that one drive full of all runs, they had hard time passing or running the ball against us. Take away the 21 bogus calls and you get a score of 13-17. Jets offense didn't do anything but the pick 6 was clean and the run back was clean, unlike the 3 Ravens defensive TDs.
So did the Ravens offense. 21 bogus points to Ravens D, else the score line would have been 13-17, Jets as it stood.
Tell why this shouldn't be a roughing the passer penalty? I showed u frame by frame where Suggs should have let go, but he first spins Sanchez into the OL, then 'slams' him to the turf intentionally. Thats two different actions, both coming after Sanchez had thrown the ball while Suggs didn't have his hands on Sanchez yet.
Vick doesn't get the calls either and its frustrating to see how Brady and Manning get the call when they cry like a 3 old girl.
1) If Mo's "hit" on Campbell last week was RTP, then that sure as shit is. 2) If that's Brady or Rodgers, the flag is coming out.
It's been obvious for a while that the Jets are not gonna get the these calls. We are just going to have to lose more games for the refs to start to feel sorry for us again.
