Well seeing as Mangold has only played 5 (technically 5.5) games, 3 pro bowl worthy games isn't actually bad, especially coming off a high ankle injury. I definitely expect him to go to the pro bowl.
Revis. Mangold. Ferguson. Can't see anyone else turning around their years production wise that drastically now.
That's the point - he's played well in barely half his games, and missed the others. Based on his performance so far he has been far from Pro Bowl-worthy.
What? Nobody thinks TJ Conley is going to make it. That's it I'm gonna punch Koz in the face when I see him.
This ^ Sanchez, Burress, Keller, and Holmes (or anyone else) would need to career years to make it, which is unlikely based on their play so far. Then again, it is only Week 8 and there is a lot of football left to play. If we finish 13-3, then our team could be full of Pro Bowlers. GO JETS!
Except it's too small of a sample size to say that. Mangold traditionally has been extremely durable, and I doubt he will get hurt again (knock on wood), and he doesn't look as if he regressed or anything. I would be pretty surprised if he doesn't continue to have Pro-Bowl level games and also get voted to the Pro-Bowl.
Plaxico may make it if he racks up touchdowns. Revis, Mangold, Brick, if McKnight gets another TD he could be a lock. Maybe Brandon Moore, but he hasnt had a great season.
Alan Faneca made the probowl the last year he was here. Everyone was complaining about his pass blocking all season but everyone knows his name so he was voted in.
That's a completely different point, which I acknowledged in my first post. Not talking to you, but I also already said that if Mangold plays the rest of the year the way he's capable he would deserve it, it but after 7 games there is simply no way that he deserves it this year - he hasn't played well enough so far.
