...sorry if repost!!! Check the Link below http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show_article?article_id=814&short_name=news THIS is how a camp should be run and this is how to keep players on their toes!
I agree if it is a young team we're talking about (which we are). A veteran team doesn't need all that. They know what needs to be done, and they generally are about as disciplined as they ever will be.
The more skeptical I try to become, the more things I hear to challenge my skepticism. But at least my heart won't be crushed if they fail.
What can you expect? Mangini is the brainchild of Bill Belichek and what used to be a good Wesleyan program.
I agree too, but even sometimes VETS lose focus or if they've become used to a certain way of doing things ala the Herm Edwars method you sometimes have to debug and reprogram them. I think Mangini is doing a stand up job!
abyzmul, i still believe we will crack no more than 8 wins but we will be a VERY competitive sub .500 team, but this team is really rebuilding so that is my expectation if we do better, I'll be floored.
Hall of Fame, I understand that sentiment but coming from a certain system does NOT necessarily mean instant or sure success, its how that student applies the knowledge given to them and I believe Mangini is going to shock alot of people that he may be just as good if NOT better (i doubt this) than his mentors.
