    Both Going To The Playoffs.

Barring major injuries, both the Jets and the Pats should go to the playoffs. They'll face off with one another this week. After that they both have a very easy schedule, with teams that are mostly at or under .500. Buffalo has a tougher schedule for the rest of the way.

    Pats:
    ---
    NYJ
    KC
    PHI
    IND
    WAS
    DEN
    MIA
    BUF

    Jets:
    ---
    NE
    DEN
    BUF
    WAS
    KC
    PHI
    NYG
    MIA

    Buf:
    ---
    DAL
    MIA
    NYJ
    TEN
    SD
    MIA
    DEN
    NE
    ---
It wouldn't be farfetched for the Pats to lose to the Jets, and then win out, going 12-4. The Jets could do the same, assuming they can beat Buffalo again, and maybe drop one (the Giants?) in the middle they could finish 12-4. I'm sure it won't play out that way, the Jets will improbably blow a game or two to mediocre teams.

The Bills have a tough road ahead, and could finish 8-8 just as easily.

It's not hard to claim the Jets or Pats will win the division at this point. Even though the teams are logjammed the Jets and Pats have much easier schedules.

I never take creedence in what NFL pundits have to say. They're like teenage girls, quickly going from fad to fad, whats in to whats in now, like sheep. Still, nice to see us getting some respect recently.
