I know this is a late post but at this point we want the Steelers (even though I hate them) and the Ravens to win more, because they are already ahead of us and they still each play one more game vs. the Bengals. Hopefully those are 2 losses for the Bengals because we are already a game behind them and we still have a few tough games left. We wanted everyone in the AFC West to suck, and the South to stay exactly the same. I believe there is a possibility that we still make the playoffs, I think we have the best shot out of the AFC and it is IMO about a 50/50 shot depending on how well we do obviously but also how the Bengals do, because if they do any better than 3-3 for the rest of the way we probably won't go, because that would mean we would have to win out the rest of the season, and I don't really see that happening. The Titans are still in the mix, especially with CJ2K possibly doing something good for them, but again we can only hope they suck. Pretty much hope for any NFC team to win in a cross-conference matchup, and for the Bengals and Titans to lose.
Even the NY Times sees the glass as half full because other teams can't win: http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/21/can-mediocre-a-f-c-save-the-jets/?partner=rss&emc=rss
Will KC beat the Pats tonight? I hate saying teams have no chance at winning but what could they do to stop the Patriots and give em a lost?
Maybe Matt Cassell will be fueled by "beating his old team" and had a good game. I know it rarely happens but one can hope
Cassell will be pumpeddd but i dont think it will make any difference....He's already been ruled out of the game Palko is starting.
We should be rooting for the Patriots anyway. A win would put KC at 5-5. Pats are going to win the division. The Broncos lost pretty much wiped out any hopes of the AFCE.
