    Orton released by Broncos

    Only reason this effects us is because he could land with teams that while not competing with us for a playoff spot, plays teams we are competing against.

    lol, that's a third-round pick down the drain or whatever they could have gotten by trading him to Miami in the offseason.

    Maybe they're hoping the Bears take him so they can get out from under the rest of the salary, that's about the only thing left to 'gain' by freeing Orton from Tebowland.

    I can see him going to the Chiefs, Bears, Phins or Browns.

    There is no way he goes to the Texans!

    He'd need to learn the Texans' system though. At least with the Bears or the Rams (not that they have any real need for him since they're going nowhere anyway) he'd know the system already. Well actually he wouldn't know the system with the Bears since Martz got there after he was traded away?

    I don't understand why the Broncos would do this when they've got a good chance to win their division. Either John Elway is certain Tebow is injury-proof or he's just too entrenched in the idea that this is a rebuilding year to bother with a serviceable back-up quarterback.

    Then again, I don't understand the benching of Orton. Or the drafting of Tebow. I don't understand a goddamn thing about Denver.
