1. Our QB can't throw the ball Downfield and we're likely stuck with him for years to come. We have a new "captain check down" as our QB. 2. Our #1 WR is unhappy, dogs it on the field in the biggest game of the season, and then throws everyone else under the bus when asked about it. 3. Our Head Coach can't control his players 4. The number of glaring holes on offense and defense is alarming. 5. Our offensive coaching staff will likely be replaced. Not a good time to be a Jets fan.
I don't know about all that. It's not a complete disaster. Let's get a new OC and QB Coach New RT with experience. (Cut Hunter) A safety who can cover. Some one who can rush the QB. and get rid of Mulligan. and i think we will be good again.
just face it Jet fans, you guys wont be winning another superbowl in the next 50 years either :rofl::rofl::sad:
I hope they don't trade away any of their draft picks because they going to need a fresh pool of young talent this year, and the more they can get the better. In fact, they should pick an OT or a NT in the first round. These are our highest priorities.
The Jets just need to fix the offensive line, the defensive line, the linebackers, the safeties and their overall discipline issues. They just need to decide if Schotty's system sucks after 6 years of futility or whether Sanchez sucks with half that span to go on. They just need to figure out whether they are a smashmouth football team or a technical wonder that accomplishes things on pointy-toes. They need to figure out whether they got lucky this year and did not collapse totally due to depth issues or whether depth is over-rated and they got unlucky because they had all of 3 key injuries or so. Realistically I think the Jets are pretty much in the same position they were in after 2007 at this point, only we didn't have to live through 4-12 this time.
they need alot of moves but the thing the jets will have going for them next year is low expectations which they relish in and they will over exceed I am sure.
Now apparently Cromartie went off in the press room and there is locker room division bubbling up. Great.
One thing though,Holmes should not have been our #1 WR,Braylon should have. We never should have let Ellis,Smith or Cotch go. Woody either. The team was weaker walking into the season by far. I don't know who thought we would actually be better. Sanchez' head got destroyed vs Baltimore.
