Who's talking about a bunch of receivers? We're talking about adding one.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. He has flashes of being really good then disappears for other games. He is the kind of deep threat the Jets need but after rejecting that contract who knows what kind of money he is looking for.

Curtis Painter is a super star? Stop the presses. Painter is who we want.

Just because he is asking for money doesn't mean he will demand it. Free agency is coming up, and should come relatively cheap.

I admitted that he has a case of the droppsies, but will improve our wide receiver corp. If he wants #1 money let him go, but if he is realistic and gets a #2 contract he is worth it.

He is also one that we can incorporate into our running attack.

yes a 6" 210lb WR in a pass first offense would be a great addition to our running attack. BBB----Bring Back Braylon

A RB? Serious money on a RB? There are few things more wasteful in today's NFL than paying big money for RBs. Most teams use RB committees. A RB has the shortest shelf life by far of any position in the NFL. RBs are rarely even drafted in the first round any more because of these issues.

Ask a team like the Jets, who dont have quality depth or even a RBBC how important a complete back is (I would spend $ on Mike Tolbert)? Better Yet, Ask the Ravens, Eagles, Bears, Vikings, Falcons, Raiders, Texans the importance of their ball carriers. I think you dont place enough importance on the position bud. We cant just have journymen RB's becasue we have 20+ Million tied up in our 3 cornerbacks, that is rediculious!

Garcon is nothing more then a decent WR that will be expecting and probably get paid way more then he is worth. I really hope we are not the team to overpay for his services. This draft is beyond loaded at the WR position, we need to identify a few of those prospects and get one of em somewhere between 2-4th rds.
