Dave "Softy" Mahler of KJR 950 Seattle reports that free agent Terrell Owens is en route to Seattle for a visit with the Seahawks.
Mahler broke the news when Seattle signed Braylon Edwards last week, so he appears to be on top of things in the Great Northwest. The Seahawks recently swapped out Antonio Bryant for Edwards, and apparently aren't done looking at wide receivers the rest of the league has left for dead. Owens, who turns 39 in December, hasn't played since the 2010 season with Cincinnati. He caught 72 balls for 983 yards and nine touchdowns that year, outplaying Chad Ochocinco.

Looks like the birds are signing all your old washed up receivers.

Looks like Rice is way more banged up than they are letting on. Baldwin's a decent WR so it must be Rice's health.

TO isn't a free agent any more than I am. He's done. He couldn't even play nice on an arena team.

I don't care how fast he is. He's not great anymore, he's old, he's a cancer to morale (like we don't have depth at that position), he's a penalty magnet and the combination of Holmes, Tebow and TO would be drama overload, even for this team.

Seahawks agreed to terms with WR Terrell Owens on a one-year contract.
Oh boy. Owens' recovery from a torn ACL and hard-earned reputation as a locker-room cancer conspired to keep him out of the league in 2011, but the receiver-needy Seahawks decided to take the plunge after the mercurial 15-year veteran reportedly ran a sub-4.5 forty-yard dash in his Monday tryout. A bastion of good health before his knee injury and quick healer on the rare occasions he did go down, Owens' fitness shouldn't be a big concern going into his age-39 season. It's a speculative signing for the Seahawks, of course, but considering the veteran stones they've unturned in their search for receiver help, Owens' chances of making the 53-man roster should be pretty good. We'll know more after watching him play in the preseason, but he's certainly on the fantasy radar as a potential WR4.

GMC, real question is, when are you moving to the great northwest? The "hawks" seem to be your type of team. Washed up and commin off of injury. RICE, Edwards, and now Owens

Braylon, T.O, Rice, looks like a Superstar lineup from lik 4 years ago.

Still a good trio for Matt Flynn, if they can run an offense like the Packers it could work, plus they have a top 10 defense so who knows. I started to buy into the seahawks recently, I really think they can win that division.

After the signings of TO, Braylon, and Moss earlier, you have to wonder what plaxico is thinking!

I don't care what anyone says, I'm really interested to see what TO has left.

I wonder who'll be more productive for them this year, T.O. or Braylon?
