I drafted Brad Smith in the last round of my fantasy draft. It was my special homer pick. But now I've got this itch to actually use him. Now you guys probably read this KFFL nugget from the Jets forum: Jets | B. Smith could have package of plays at quarterback Mon, 4 Sep 2006 09:36:55 -0700 Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets WR Brad Smith could be used as a quarterback in certain plays during the course of a game to relieve starter QB Chad Pennington. Smith's versatility is considered to be an asset, as he can use both his arm and legs to beat opponents. Based on that and considering he may get a couple passes thrown to him and maybe even be involved in a reverse, would you start him this week or at any time this season?
Mabye later in the season. I dont think he will see much time being 5th on the dept chart. I do think he will be invloved in some big plays this season but I doubt he can get you much fantasy points at all.
maybe in a very very deep league with lots of starting positions...or for a team with really really bad wrs(almost unbelievably bad)
starting vet rbs<<<<5th string rookie wrs ......honestly he shouldnt be on any fantasy until he proves anything(which then you can just pick him up)...the fact that you actually drafted him and are wasting a roster spot is bad enough
