how come every offseason there are millions of bills fans chirping at how much of a joke the jets are and how good their team is gonna be THIS season... this year now the jets d is gonna suck and the bills is gonna be amazing cause they got pettine. or how 'humble and hardworking' the bills players are compared to the and im using direct quotes here "dumpster blacks" on the jets. its ridiculous, and shameful, and the real reason the bills are the actual laughing stock of the league give me more stuff to crush bills fans with. havent been to playoffs since 99, one winning season in past 14 years, fan base so pathetic they get games blacked out for low attendance, moving to toronto cause of said fans sucking, bringing in big name free agents to do nothing. etc
Bottom line, when you haven't been in the playoffs in over a decade, in fact - have not made the playoffs this century - you should just STFU as a Bills fan.
"How brilliant is it that as we're speaking with this know-nothing about his joke of a franchise, tannenbaum comes out and shits on how bad the contract was that he gave Sanchez. It was real easy filling that vacancy left by Mikey T too" they are calling me a know-nothing, yet ive argued nothing but pure football using statistics and history, against statements like 'rex has a loud mouth' and the one you see about you its not a bills messageboard or anything, its not a sports forum at all, bunch of bills fans on the board just randomly started shittalking the jets, so obviously i couldnt help myself
Well every year they are touted as the "hot team" in the AFC East ready to compete for the WC and give the Jets/Phins trouble (not good neough to bother the Pats). Recently, every year, they haven't done so. At times they start the season hot, have some big wins, but have faded down the stretch. They definitely currently and the last couple years have a had a talented roster, I just think for some reason the roster has underperformed considering the talent. This is the first offseason I would agree with Bills fan who say they will do better than us in 2013 and be competitive. I could buy it this season, I haven't bought it recent past though. We have some good Bills fans here, I'm sure they could explain better about their roster/talent and if I'm way offbase regarding it.
and then they bring up aaron maybin and then when i bring up how he had 6 sacks as a situational pass rusher (a good stat)... '6 sacks as a situational pass rusher isnt amazing, so why bring it up' I DIDNT YOU FUCKING TOOL sorry its just so annoying having people try and insult you when they cant back up ANYTYHING they are saying
That seems to be the theme the last few years. It's always, "Wow! Look at the Bills! They are going to be amazing!" or "Honestly, how can the Jets beat the Bills on day 1?" Every year they are so full of hope, but get their parade rained on. Well I can give them props for that. At least they support their team, unlike at least half the Jets fans out there. If a Jets fan is talking to a Bills fan and the Bills fan says the Jets suck, there's a good chance he'll agree and won't even stick up for the team.
Your Bills are like our Jacksonville Jaguars, every year they are suppose to become the Green Bay Packers of Florida before they move to L.A. The L.A. Jaguars does have a nice ring to it though.
lol the Bills and Raiders are definitely that team where the hardcore fans always think this year will be the year
At this point in the offseason, I can't begin to predict where I think the Bills (and the Jets) will be next season. I think the Bills have some talent on the roster, but ultimately, who is playing QB is what will matter most for both teams. If the Bills and Jets dont find a good QB, we'll be sitting in the same place next offseason no matter how talented the roster is.
ummm, it happens w/ your team too. Every year I hear how great Miami will be and how their future is so bright and it never seems to work out.
No I didnt think you were. I know it's a horrible bargain. I just wanted to note that he's possibly better than Fitzpatrick (not saying much) which is why they did that. They probably could've had him at close to the league minimum though HAHA.
Some of you people are about as smart as a dead fish. Why don't you post once you figure out what the difference is between "could be worth up to 4.5 million" and signing a guy for a 4.5 million base salary.
