I'm surprised they cut Spadola. Guy shown potential.

 

Sapp doesn't even get on the field with Pace, Barnes, McIntyre and Coples ahead of him

however he's improved and was dealing with injuries since he's been here but he looked good in the preseason

 

Spadola and Ricky Sapp???

Are they both really gone?

I was hoping to see WC2 play.

This might turn out to be another "Danny Woodhead-type" mistake by the Jets in releasing Spads.

I really liked this kid!

 

If Spadola clears waivers he'll be back on the practice squad. Not sure about Sapp. IMO Spadola has potential but he needs time to develop, he wasn't gonna be an immediate contributor. Plus it isn't like we have Tom Brady throwing to him. Sapp is good but we have a lot of depth at linebacker. I image he'll be back as well.

 

If spadola were black, there would be no infatuation, no dismay, no thread.

Not true Jets fans love Braylon. The infatuation is there because Spadola was great in preseason.

 

I don't know about that. WR is pretty shallow, and it's news if somebody isn't good enough to stay on the roster. Seems to me we're hoping pretty much anybody can catch a ball reliably.

Lol what? You're comparing an undrafted free agent who isn't good to at one point a very good receiver. Race has nothing to do with it, Braylon was just really fucking good when he was here. That's why fans love him.

And spadola was great in the preseason? You must have him confused with someone else, he was average at best against 3rd stringers.

Spadola will be on the Pats by monday. I picked him up on all three of my fantasy teams to beat the rush.

 

That is probably true. It is not a racist thing though. It is a Wayne Cherbet comparison. Two white undrafted FAs that showed something.
