Cam is very overrated. I would def take my chances with Mariotta then mortgage the next 2 years drafts for this guy.
I'd love to see Cam in a Jets uniform, and don't think it would cost more than a #1 and a mid round pick, maybe less. I just can't see us ever being patient enough to develop a highly drafted QB. The key to getting him here would be a massive, 9 figure contract. It's a big gamble for us, but so is continuing to churn through shitty rookie QBs. He'd make a huge splash in NYC and the PSL/Billboard crowd would love it ... until he throws his first INT.
Cam Newton has been holding the Panthers and Rivera back for a while. No thanks. He is too inaccurate and only pads his stats late in games. He wasted an amazing defense last year and you can tell they don't really trust him anymore. Steve Smith said it himself, he has some trouble reading defenses. For Rivera and Shula's sake, I think they'd be interested in shipping him out

I would love to have Cam Newton on this team. Easily give up a first for him, two firsts even. I think he can be a franchise QB.. I would just want a new HC when we get him. I'm not sure if third time is the charm for Rex and the QB position
Why trade all those picks when we can just wait for him to realize what you said.. He won't develop in Carolina, he'll decide not to re-sign and we can offer him a shit load of money in 2016 ^_^. Plus NYC bright lights, plus Harvin Decker Kerley & Amaro as a core, and an o-line that we are for sure to build this offseason!
