We got our @$$es wooped today, one of the worst games I've seen in awhile from the jets.

    But ahead: Miami, Detriot, @Cleveland.

Miami (1-4): Only win was a last second FG against the Titans, got beat by the Texans, can't see the jets losing.

Detriot (0-5): The team has played hard against Minn, GB, and St. Louis, but winless none the less. And at home, no way the jets let this one slip by.

Cleveland (1-4): With only 1 win against the hopeless Raiders, this one we should win also.

5-3 at the bye would be damn good for this team after a performance like this.

    5-3? Try 3-5 or 4-4 if we're lucky.

The only silver lining to today's game is that as bad as the margin of victory is, this game only counts as one loss. We still have lots of games left.

Do seriously see the fins, lions, or browns beating the jets? I sure don't, one bad game.

I disagree here. This is only one week. Last week we almost beat the colts.

Yep. One bad game that will probably piss off the Jets. They'll bounce back. 1 game at a time baby, I still got hope

How many losses does it take for you to start rooting for a draft pick again?

Leon is the only brightspot of today's game, hopefully he gets the start against the fins.

You talking to me? I refuse to ever root for a draft pick. I cheer hard for the jets every week until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoff hunt. After that, I just watch the games like it's the preseason, not caring who wins.

The Giants got killed a few weeks ago vs seattle, and they came back and beat Washington. The Patriots got soundly beaten by Denver and they came back and killed the Bengals. Back in 2002 we lost 44-7 vs the patriots and still ended up winning the division. Its just one game, teams are allowed bad games.

Most of us had today penciled in as a loss (including myself). We are 2-3 and have 3 very winnable games ahead of us. Lets go out and beat miami next week and get things back on track (and basically end their season at 1-5)

It's not that we lost, it's the way we lost. Teams will take note of this and try to put all the pressure on our running game, which is terrible.

After today it's hard to call any game a given.

We need to bounce back against the Fins big time, if we don't then i could see Detroit or Cleveland beating us.

We got outplayed by a bigger, stronger and better team....the refs blew any type of momentum we could have salvaged. Its not the end of the season. No one got injured badly( which is a very good thing). Im dissapointed and it sucks but we just gotta look foward to beating the fins

Teams already knew this, but it didn't help them as much as it helped the Jags this week. The Jags are a great defensive team, especially at home. We happened to have our worst game on the road against a great defense, this is where you want your worst games. It's much better than having your worst games against the bad teams. We'll be 5-3 at the bye. Did you forget that this was a 4-12 team last year? Our opponents were the exact opposite, 12-4. We can take a loss.

We can win out here before the bye week I beleive we can. And any Jets fan whos rooting for a draft pick should go fuck themselves and root for another team. Fans like that make me sick.

5-3 isn't unrealistic. We'll probably go 2-1 because we're probably in the same group as Detroit, Cleveland, and Miami, but the optimist in me has 3-0. 2-1 is the most likely though.
