I'm kinda hoping they go after Glennon and draft Shane Carden in rd3 or rd4. I'm hearing they are planning on giving Jeff Tuel another look. My thought is that Glennon could, at worst, nail down a #2 spot. Whatever the case, QB continues to be the weak spot......
FWIW, Kyle Orton is the highest rated QB in Bills history (minimum of 230 attempts)..... Maybe he wanted to go out on top? LOL.......
If he really wanted to go out in style he'd have put up a perfect passer rating in a meaningless game
I seriously wouldn't mind Sanchez. But would rather go all in with EJ and see what we have with him at this point. The poor FA QB's and this upcoming year along with no first round pick make the decision easy. No way Nate Hackett stays at OC. When Freddy Jackson is the "go to guy" in the passing game that is a fail on playcalling and QB recognition pre-snap. I'm on the fence with Marrone too. His juggling experment with the offensive line was an epic fail and that's suppose to be his specialty. However the players apparently love him and play hard for him.
I haven't given a good look a FA guards yet but we definitely need some serious upgrades there. Eric Wood had one of his worst years too. If we get a vet QB in FA, I'm fine with the whole draft being on the offensive line and depth in the secondary/special teams. No clue how we should pursue the RB spot? Spiller walks. Freddy will likely have a much decreased role next year. Brown showed flashes but it's a leauge wide consensus if you can't hold onto the ball, you don't play.
Bills need a coach now too, I don't blame Marone for not wanting to be stuck with Manuel. Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 42s42 seconds ago Doug Marrone has opted out of his contract as the Buffalo Bills coach and is now a free agent to pursue other jobs, per @mortreport and me.
