Those were good old days. Beating Brady and Manning on the road back to back. Almost winning against Steelers. Missed play off football. Missed my competitive Jets. Missed the excitement, goose bumps, butterflies in my tummy. Missed hard nose Jets football. Missed good old days. :(

Hopefully we'll all have fun watching the Ravens beat the Pats in Foxboro next Saturday.

Nothing like the excitement of playoff football when your team is in the dance.

I remember being extra crushed when they came out flat vs Pittsburgh and lost because I had the feeling at the time that it might be awhile until this organization got back there because of the veteran roster that was in transition. Unfortunately I was right.

Hopefully the jets can get back there. It's high time we got a damn home playoff game too

It really sucks not being in the mix,4 straight years of not watching the Jets past December. No fun no excitement it really blows,That's one of the things I'm so mad we will never get to see again with Rex,you just didn't know what was gonna happen if we got in with him as our coach, sucks so bad that we never got to see it again

Sounds funny coming from a Jets fan, but I was really getting used to making the playoffs regularly since the Parcells era. Missing this many years in a row actually feels strange ... And it sucks.

Our time will come again. Now that we got rid of some huge piles of garbage (Coach/GM), we can work on the smaller pieces of garbage (Geno/Corners).

Being overly optimistic, with a reasonable QB, a corner or two, solidify the oline and a competent head coach the way things are watered down we might actually sneak in next year, obviously the Pats, Broncos, Ravens etc. will still be better than us..

We'll be back. Rex got lucky that he took Mangini's hard work and roster and had 2 successful years (I am convinced that this team would have had a lot more success if Favre didn't choke and Mangini wasn't fired for it). Once the new coach gets a year to rebuild this roster and get a qb, there will be playoff games in store.
