Glad he's gone. Stephen Hill was a perfect test case for his coaching. And...he sucked.

Never understood David Lee either. Everyone said he was great, then said that Mark Sanchez never got better in 4 years, and Geno Smith never got better in 2.

Well...what the fuck? I feel like David Lee the Forward from Golden State could've figured out a way to get Sanchez & Geno to suck. They were doing that already. Anyway. Adios, guys.

Amen. That guy should've been hired here the day he retired.

    wow. Rex will not change.
He surrounds himself with those who will agree with him than those who will make him better.

He surrounds himself with comfortable people than those who are qualified.

    He will not be better

Ill give you that but explain the regression of jeremy kerley?

Decker was the only one working out there and that is because of his plain talent

Sanjay Lal did nothing to improve the WR corp. It was always based on the talent alone. He didn't necessarily make it worse...he just did nothing to contribute.

Sanjay and development don't go together. Hopefully Bowles and Macc make a better hire there.

Why would they even consider releasing Sammy Watkins?

Personally I couldn't understand the play calling and why wasn't the guy used as our slot receiver. So I don't think Kerley regressed. He was underused. Not Sanjay's fault on this one.

Its hilarious that Jets fans think that coaches who can't make horrible players not horrible must be horrible.

A freaking wide receiver position coach "ruined" a WR? Really? Come on guys. That's stupid, even for Jets fans.

You obviously didn't know about Sanjay Lal until a couple days ago. Don't pretend like you follow the Jets as close as your team.

Sanjay Lal is awful. Even fans knew that when he was ON the team. You're clearly blind with hope your Bills will turn out well with this 4-12 staff. Willing to rationalize anything.

Even some of us Jets fans admit, the likelihood of Bowles and Macc being in their position for a long time as a successful franchise is more improbable than not.

But he was right about one thing, this WILL be his last coaching job.

    Isn't it funny?

I felt the worst about Rex going to Buffalo the first moment I learned of it. Since then, I've been more and more okay with it and it's decisions that he's making like this one that make me feel that way. I mean, David Lee and Sanjay Lal? Shouldn't this be an opportunity to try something different for Rex? I guess he's bringing in Greg Roman at OC rather than Marty, but I'm not sure that's even an upgrade

LOL... I wonder what a young Kenny could do with the new coaches and this young team.
Can wait for the draft and free agency.

sanjay lal is not a good wr coach. just take a look at the performance of the jets wr while he was here and you will see a group with sloppy route running and an inability to create separation.

sure this is a talent thing, but its also the coaches job to teach them little tricks to creating separation; to help them with their footwork so their routes are crisp and consistent, so they dont make mistakes on their reads, and so they can get off the ball and create immediate separation for those quick routes.

through the years hes been here, the jets have had none of that. receivers getting jammed on short routes and nowhere for the qb to throw the ball, wrs not running the right routes, not being in the right spots, never getting any kind of separation. its like he never worked on sticking a route or a fake at the top of a route or any of those little things.

the jets group of wrs has not lacked talent as much as they have lacked direction. lal just aint that good.

I see your avatar of Rex in Bills gear. He made it clear during his presser that he's already gotten rid of all of his Jets stuff. And then said how the Bills D will be number 1. So the leopard doesn't change his spots. Of course he got trounced two times by Buff last season. Now if that changes in 2015 I seriously doubt Bills fans will be rejoicing about their new head coach. But trust me unnamed sources will be putting the blame on someone else.

LOL, that's how the majority of Jets fans think, draft a mediocre QB an when he sucks its in the OC the list goes on and on
