Draft Poll: If we go defense in 1st round, who do you like?

Why not white? Marshall will not be here forever and it would do this franchise good to start having young talented wr in the wings incase of injuries. Do we want another year of having to resort to greg salas or uwusu??

Marshall is gonna give us 2 productive seasons if we're lucky. Signing him shouldn't prevent us from drafting Cooper or White if they're there

 

Beasley, I think Fowler goes top 5.

Shane Ray will be a bust. I don't like anything about the dude. It scares me that he said he was close to Sheldon.

 

I want Beasley. I think he can be even better than Fowler or Gregory.

 

Vic Beasley would be beastly with the DL we have... He's explosive and a game changer... IMO he's the type of player we've been missing for a looooong time..

 

If we draft DL, then I want a veteran QB before the draft. Unless of course they trade for Foles.

 

I wouldn't pick Williams even if he fell to the Jets. He might be the best player in this draft, but I think he will be a 5 technique in a 3-4. The Jets shouldn't use the 6th overall pick on that position since the Jets have Wilkerson and Richardson. As for the original question, I'd have Fowler as my first choice followed by Beasley.

I'm just wondering how a couple of weeks ago the stack ranking was widely viewed as:
- Gregory
- Ray
- Fowler
- Beasley

And now it's been virtually turned on it's head. What happened in the last two weeks that changed the college careers these players had. If you say the combine, we've been misled before by the combine.

 

I like that Beasley plays disciplined and is a wrap up tackler. He seems balanced and smart.

Given the choice of all of the above, my choice is Fowler. Fowler seems to be the most explosive pass rusher of the group, which will be at a premium in Bowles pass rush happy system.

 

If it's D I'm hoping it's Dandy Randy Gregory!

He IMO will be the best edge pass rusher in the draft! I love his athleticism, speed and ability to bend to get to the QB.

 

Any of these guys going to be around with the 20th pick?

 

Fowler basically looks and plays like a T Suggs clone. Same exact size as T-Sizzle and goes balls out on every down. Back that up with a great combine and this guy looks the part. Hopefully he's still there at 6. I like Beasley right behind Fowler. If the Jets go D, Fowler's the guy.

 

No cornerback. That's all I ask

 

Go after Bryce Petty or Mannion if they are available IMHO. A QB first then BPA.
