I think Cro is overrated but I trust Bowles. He saw him up close for 16 gams last season. He had to have liked what he saw or he would not have brought him here.

You guys remember when Detriot won all their pre-season games? Yeah they finished 0-16 that year. Keep calm and watch baseball until September.

Do you have ADHD? Some other disorder maybe that makes you blurt out completely unrelated statements?

    It's week 1... Lol

Bowles did not game plan, he said multiple times he was treating this game lime a TC practice, nothing more..

Sloppy play is to be expected, Bowles likely put them in unfavorable positions throughout the game as well just to see how certain players would react.

This is a non-issue and our D will be just fine when the games actually start counting.

Although, Cro hasn't had the best camp this far, he is one guy a am a little worried about.

Coples and Davis are both fast for their position.

IK wasn't garunteed anything. He was third string for a reason.

Brand new defense. First real angry contact. I was not surprised.

we don't have a starting calibre QB (regardless of whether anyone is injured or not) and so its pretty much certain going to be a long season regardless of how the D performs. my primary hope for this year is we get the D solidified and get a shot at a quality QB in next year's draft.

    SOJS?

Either the GSmith incident is too fresh in players minds or Bowles and Mac better get players who want to be in this league/ on Team. No SR no Wilk also a factor

Preseason is where you cut the wheat from the chaff. Right?

If this play continues Bowles needs to read players the riot act. JMHO

OK, I understand that this is pre-season and all, but did you guys watch ANY of the other games being played last night? What, are the Jets the only team in the NFL who blows off the pre-season and doesn't come to play then ? Cause it sure looked to me like every other game being played last night was competitive.....except this one.

    Just sayin'.....

Yeah at the very least, all those puff piece training camp positive reports have been negated in my book. I really don't see where all these positive TC reports are coming from.

Why the hell didn't he game plan? Is he so adept at running a team that he doesn't need the practice? I hope you just misunderstood.

    What? Lol

Most teams have an idea on things they want to see but hardly any team actually gameplans in the pre-season.

    You know this, right?

It makes sense man, these games don't count, so instead of focusing on limiting what you do in an attempt to ain, you expose your team go find out about player weakness, scheme weakness, etc...

It's all about team growth. Wins and Losses mean literally nothing right now.

    Yes, I would bet.

He, nor this team are going to care.

    These games mean nothing.

It was new. First game with angry contact. We only saw the real D for two series, I think. They might have come around after getting their noses bloodied. Next two games will tell us more.

Unfortunately I have the same feeling, and I am usually the eternal optimist. I think I am finally learning. I hope to the heavens I am wrong but I have an awful feeling about this season.
