Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 32m32 minutes ago Jason Babin is the first relatively surprising cut by the Jets. Solid veteran. Bodes well for Trevor Reilly now. #nyj 33 retweets 24 favorites http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/05/report-jets-cut-jason-babin/
We're trying to get younger and Babin is only a one-trick pony who commits a lot of penalties. I would have still kept him but this makes sense to me.
Please cut some guys that I think you are going to keep. I love football, but if these guys are on the same wavelength as me we are doomed
Where exactly is your head at man? I've not noticed you say anything wrong or irrational but you've alluded to Bowles and Mac thinking on a higher plane than you in other thread, and now that your on the wrong wave length. It's similar to the way I feel about the Mets right now, hoping that they are not feeling the way I am, because I feel quite uneasy. I hope they're more stable than I am, lol. Maybe that's how you are feeling about the Jets right now?
I was really being facetious. I thought it was obvious that the QBs did well. So I anticipated something else in the works. I assumed these guys had bigger plans. As for the Mets, Terry is making me incontinent
I'm glad he's gone. I thought the guy was a punk and pulled some dirty plays on the field. Good riddance.
I'm sure Rex is waiting with open arms for Babin. Too bad we couldn't get him to take McDougle off our hands too.
I respect your opinion but have to disagree. Pace can play the run, is long, and has some solid pass rush moves. Babin is a better pass rusher but not a better overall player. He's in dimensional and has been for some time. Unfortunately that's the one dimension we lack on this group of Lb's.
Get your point, but If Pace doesn't blitz he's a liability in passing situations and makes more money than Babin
